Very true! If you don't have a strong conviction/need for either has to be the LWB's. I tried both in the showroom and find them both comfortable enough but I had a day in a 991 GTS with the Folding Buckets and found they were way too high.

It's odd to me that given the instructors at PEC all spend the first 15 mins telling you about the correct driving position and the cornerstone of that is getting the seat as low as possible....then they design the bucket seat so that it sits higher than a normal seat!
Hi Chieb,

So its the 918's ( LWB's ) for you too.

May I ask your weight and height?, sorry if thats a bit intrusive..

Tia.
I'm 6ft 1in and 15 stone ....so the extra width in the arse area of the LWB's is definitely better (but folding's are not a disaster) but the seat height is more important.

Matt black for mine. Just had the car detailed by Richard at Perfection Detail and it looks absolutely stunning. Left the coating to cure today and hoping to pile some more miles on the car tomorrow.

I wonder if Porsche will sell me a Touring tail and then I’ll have the best of both worlds. Stealth for weekdays, full fat for weekends. 😂

Sorry I just don't get the T thing. It would be like being married to a beautiful young woman then covering her up so no one can see her. Are GT3 buyers so insecure? Just my opinion of course.

I think the touring looks sexier than the winged version Rob.

Channeling Swiss Toni...

The touring GT3 is like a lady in a smart trouser suit, she looks sharp and means business. The winged GT3 is like a lady in a nightclub wearing fishnets, short skirt and high heels, you know you are in for a good time but you couldnt take her home to see your mother thumbup

Unless your Mother was drunk of course! Is the Touring more for the older chap who wants to potter around as his downforce has been dramatically decreased. wink

To me its the winged cars that look like they have been........ augmented biggrin

Think of the Touring spec as Leonardo DiCaprio and the winged GT3 as Jack Nicholson. ....both do the same job but Jack requires blue diamond supplements to perform wink

P.S Are you and Molly doing the road trip in Spain this year or are you heading off back to the Alps?

Do you want your occasional mistress wearing a smart suit or high heels and stockings ?

Winged weekend tart for me please. Can’t wait.
