But it will have to have a particle filter by then? This will reduce power... My guess is that there will be no more GT3RS'.

I thought that but then someone on here pointed out the Speedster will be made with the RS engine next year "making more than 500 bhp". It seems like the engine make more than is quoted by Porsche anyway.

Speedster isn't ready for production yet though is it? The concept may not have a GPF and make over 500bhp, but the actual car that makes production may be different...

Yeah good points but it is still a concept isn't it?

Was at an OPC today, so many GT cars almost littering the place. 911R, 2 x GT2 RS' that don't seem to have left the premises, GT3's everywhere

What’s the chance of another batch of GT3’s being released in UK this year? Any chance before 992 comes out? Desperate to get a build and have started building a “good” by my means list of trades with OPC.
OPC claim not to know if it’ll happen either way.
Any thoughts?
No chance for third batch of GT3's

Isn't a key attraction of the .2GT3 (standard or Touring), that it has a better engine than the .1GT3, RS or R ?
Yes it is
Agree.

The difference between gen 1 and gen 2 GT3 is striking despite both having 9k rev limits.

Both develop max power at 8250 but the gen 2 has 350kw at 9k revs whereas the gen 1 has only 310kw. Plus the gen 2 only loses 4.8% power between these revs whereas the gen1 loses 11.4%

Max torque is developed at 6k revs on the gen 2 but 6250 on the gen 1. And significantly the torque drop off between this and the red line is a massive 25% on the gen 1 but only 19.6% on the gen 2.

It seems the Preuninger spiel about the gen 2 having far reduced engine internal friction etc and centrally lubricated crankshaft all freeing up revs etc is accurate.

Do you know how much the Solihull white PDK steel .2 GT3 has been sold for? It was listed at £175k

It’s only mirroring the GT4 situation.

It’s too early to tell if the party over, just need all these cars going to their forever homes first then check the market.

If many more hit the OPCs, I can see them back to list in no time, then they’ll fly out, imho.

What happen to the 70 or so punters my OPC claimed were clambering for the slots when new, surely some would still pay over to get their cars or was everyone a flipper?

3 year old plus Gen 1s still around list retail.

Inferior car inferior engine.

These will support gen 2 prices.

Hopefully - and I own one! All this overs talk is boring. I thought piston heads was a forum for car driving fans not prospectors

I think all will settle at £20k overs and quickly, end of Summer. Can’t see list for a while, bar perhaps the 991.1 RS.
OPC’s stuffed as all now realise the slow records just been on, party is finally over on the nouveau GT.

OPC still wins. It’s the owners who have been duped into the Ponzi scheme buying multiple non GT cars who lose.

If Cardiff, one of the GT3s is mine and is being re-collected today - was absolutely never for sale! But agree a remarkable stock of GT cars around at the moment.

Just need to get to ‘despair’ so I can buy laugh

Seriously though the insane pricing surely couldn’t last forever. [url]

wish full thinking imo when 991.1 GT3 are so strong money wise, they need to really drop a lot.

£30k/£35k overs maybe in winter.

£20k overs is a pipe dream.

JZM seem to be doing a good job....looks like they have sold the PTS 991.1 GT3 and the UV 991.1 RS they have ....don't think they have had either for a long time.
