that's the great thing about the 996, it can be so many things to so many people. You think that is the holly grail, for me it is the opposite. I don't want any aero kit, I want a tip & red is the only colour I would no go for.
non aero, non Guards, non-tip. C2 preferably. That's the 'grail for me. But then I've been there, done it...jonny996 said:

I doubt those alloys are 17", looks good apart from that.

Couldn't live with that interior personally.

Why do some people find it so hard to take a few decent photos when they try to sell a car? At least fit the whole flipping car in frame!Fast Bug said:

To be fair, photos never tell the whole story. Some of the cars I viewed looked great in the pictures but were not so good in the flesh. The car I bought looked ok in the photos, but is absolutely lovely in the flesh.

And tidy your garden up before taking pics.;) Seems reasonably priced though and only two owners with comprehensive history. Shame the ad doesn't expand on this...Has anyone spotted this one? Its got the "wrong" wheels but appears to have had some recent tlc lavished on it. A quick glance at the service book pics suggests a bit of a gap between 2008 - 2012 but otherwise maintained annually. Perhaps laid up for a period of time? I've not checked tax/Mot history....

Good choice, looks lovely!
I'm still browsing the ads myself, but still a few weeks from having the funds to make a purchase, so only window shopping.
Interestingly FGP still have the silver GT3 kitted car for sale despite selling the other 996s that they had at the same time,. Has anyone viewed it? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PORSCHE-911-996-CARRERA-... They've dropped the price a little. Perhaps the sketchy service history is the sticking point, despite the recent work that's been done on the car?
They seem to price their cars a little bit high and then lower the price a bit and then go for an auction.I'm still browsing the ads myself, but still a few weeks from having the funds to make a purchase, so only window shopping.

It's still listed for sale, but I can confirm that it is very much on my drive at home! It's already had the centre console delete and of course its now back on ambers
Luke at FGP is fantastic. He also has a decent chunk of stock coming through, with 5 other early 996s being prepped for sale at the moment. I'd recommend going to see him for a chat if you're in the market. He's just picked up a Gaurds Red Aerokit on an 'S' if anyone is trying to source that particular unicorn?
