what is an 'early' 3.4 996?

It goes round corners in a far more orderly fashion than the standard set up which I found to be a bit vague at times on turn in. Also even though the ride is firmer it's more comfortable to drive.
Does M030 include bushes? I thought it was springs, dampers & ARBs.I think there's a few equivalent kits available from D911 etc for everyone's info

I think engines with tip are supposed to be more inclined to borescore than manual ones. Something to do with starting in second. I may be wrong. It has happened before
I heard that, makes sense, shame because as above the box is good, think it's the same 722.x guts we use on big power turbo diesel builds, I wonder if this rumour is why there are so many sub £10k tip 996s for sale then, surely they can't all have bore score and be shmokey on start up.. At least none of the adverts allude to it. Besides if it is the MB 722.x they have a sport mode / start in first mode which might be able to be coded into the Porsche TCM module..... :0 (I will do some research into this I think...)

Nah tips are cheaper because rightly or wrongly an automatic is not seen as pure or involving.I wonder if this rumour is why there are so many sub £10k tip 996s for sale then, surely they can't all have bore score and be shmokey on start up.. Checked the engine and Gbox mounts and they're fine.
If they are as old as the car they won't be fine. I got new OE ones from rockauto and they made a big difference, and fitted a new gearbox bush when I had the box dropped. Smollet said:
That may be but the car's only done 33k and I did ask for them to checked and was told they don't need replacing so I'm going with the recommendation of the bloke who works on the car.
Fair enough. My opinion is that the design of mount which hangs the engine from the car means they stretch over time rather than wear with usage. These are from a 51k mile 9 year old (at replacement) 997.
Look at the difference old vs new:

The yellow car has been on off sale for the past couple of years.
I sold my low mileage rare white 996 C2 aerokit with the same low mileage to a dealer 2 years ago for 17750. He then re sold it for 22500 which I thought was very toppy.
This yellow one looks in great condition and has superb service history with Zentrum so will be a good car.
I would say 25k tops.
The seller always seems to want just more than what the market is prepared to pay.
Im sure it was up for about 25k when I sold mine.
Makes you wonder if he really wants to sell it, or just keeping wife happy telling her he cant sell it!!

The yellow car was up for £25K around six months ago and the silver car he had which had a red interior was up for £23K and believe did sell.
He always seems to price a few steps ahead of the market each time he offers which says he isn't that concerned if it doesn't sell but their may be an off chance somebody will pay over the odds. Looks a great car in a less common colour then my own silver aero car. I would value at 22k private or maybe 25K from a dealer on a good day.
