Isn’t there a manual release cable behind the NS arch liner for the frunk?
There is, yes. Not the easiest to get too. I've ordered a new actuator as it seems like that's the issue.

That's an excellent deal. I've got the same tyres, they seem great.

Did they try and sell you new dampers and exhaust?

Actually commented that they inspected them & brakes & were all in good order "you must look after it" biggrin

Yes the new 5 ones, I was going to go for the PS4 but the £200 difference is a lot of petrol.

Also getting the new engine mounts fitted next week, so going from 10 year old tyres with a leaking engine mount to new tyres & mounts will feel so nice.

Previously I had a "beep, beep, beep-beep-beep" style reversing thing, it's now a visual display:

Back of the car is now a luggage/storage area rather than useless seats:

The two cubbies which replace the rear seat bases use the same key as the cubby in the handbrake console that sits under the drivers left elbow"

Interestingly Porsche didn't want to sell us two "because why would you want two", so we said that we wanted to keep one for a spare.

Bit more body colour which I think has worked very well in this case.

Both cars in the same place - a rare occurrence.

Bottom ends are together, waiting for the billet tappet chests - we've ordered 10 of the dual-stage scavenge pumps as we thought other people might want one, and that's occupying our machining place at the moment. But we're very close to it being final assembly and then running it in on the Dyno before seeing what she'll do.

A couple of straps that can be put over those bags to prevent them from sliding about would finish that off nicely.

I've been paranoid about these things ever since I watched a film about how loose luggage and object on rear seats, parcel shelves and the boot basically turned into deadly projectiles in an accident

The reason that I didn't bring the car home with me today is because there are two outstanding tasks:

1. Re-trim the wheel
2. Create a fabric bulkhead that separates the luggage from the passengers, which utilises the wind-deflector as a lid to fully restrain bags, cases, umbrellas and so on

Dammit, that looks sensational!

Have you thought of putting in some eyeholes so you can fit a lightweight tonneau cover to it?

Few more (sorry).

All the carpet (every last stitch of it) is gone, replaced with Alcantara:

Apart from lining the luggage compartments, where a small bit persists - I might replace this, but it's hardwearing so it will probably stay.

We have added luggage tie-downs:

They trimmed the sill plates, which was a nice surprise:
