Dial up Sport mode and the gearbox software will blip the throttle to provide perfectly rev-matched downshifts. Paradoxically, it is arguably more involving in Comfort mode, where you’re left to your own devices. The relatively wide spacing of the ratios requires you to be quite explicit on each blip, but get your heel-and-toe action right and you'll be richly rewarded.
So, it looks like you have to stay in comfort mode in order to rev match yourself...OR select sport mode and the software auto blips between changes.
Is the GT4 the same?

sport mode is really auto blip mode, it does not add any sports feel like other 981 models.Dial up Sport mode and the gearbox software will blip the throttle to provide perfectly rev-matched downshifts. It's very nice as it happens, I tend to heal on toe for 30 mins or so but always end up in sports mode :-)
It's a great feature imo.

What's also an added bonus is you switch on in heavy traffic or a few miles before getting home for the added engine cooling as the engines tend to run very hot for emissions! It's very nice as it happens, I tend to heal on toe for 30 mins or so but always end up in sports mode :-)

Top comedy."The 991.1 GT3 was infamous for scraping its low front end........."
As if the 991.2 will be any different.
