How to get window on page - any short cuts?
Discussion
Mate has elderly relative who every few months gets stuck with a window half way off the right of the screen.
They can adjust the left side of the window by clicking and sliding the edge after hovering over it and left right arrows appear
However they cant get to the right window edge to do the same as it's off the screen. They cant get to the minimise or fit to screen icons top right either as they're off the screen.
Now we all know is that what you have to do is click and hold the top of the window and you can move it left
However that isn't obvious to the unaware, and by the time it happens again a few months later they've forgotten
Is there another way of getting the whole window back on the screen?

Double-click the title bar of the window will maximize it
So it does. It's a start - but not that memorableIf you click the little double square resize icon again the window goes back to being half off the screen
Is there a way of preventing the window being taken off screen in the first place?
why would any normal person want to do it?

I move windows partially off screen all the time, so I can see what is behind - its just a way of organising your workspace. If you've got multiple monitors you often drag items off the side and onto the other screen.Easy way to recover this is press the windows key and the left arrow.

What mode is that called Just tried it with Win10. it fits everything on the desktop in a paned manner or is it tiled?
Then double clicking a pane makes it appear full screen - something like that
It does the trick but is it even more confusing?
