tvr 3000s frontscreen

Hey,
Need some,help to crack this one,


Healey frame is soms 60mm smalller than needed to fit original glass for a 3000s ,TVR had them
adjusted by a firm? to fit the car,probably had a new toprail fiited to match the glassPutting a small part in between seems very hard as the weld will be seen after chroming?

Adrian has put an answer on Tvr 3000 s facebook page,he has all the stuff to make screens,but it does not fit some aftermarket glassware,

what if you remake the frames in stainless. Or a finishing stainless strip to put on the outside
