Does anyone know a company that can recondition the radio/stereo buttons on my Vantage

The old radio knobs just pull off.
Farnell provide 2 options of aluminium knobs that match the climate control ones:
Mentor 506.61 - with no indicator line
or Mentor 5552.6612 with indicator line

Total cost £15.09 including p&p (for 2 of each, to choose from).
I fitted the 506.61 as the indicator line is meaningless.
The knobs are identical in diameter and about 5mm shorter. You will need a fine bladed electrical screwdriver to get the grub screw to grip the spindle. Leave room to depress the left knob to switch the radio on and off.
They do the job perfectly.

Thanks for the information but I am after the buttons not the knobs Its the little buttons that have the black coating rubbed off

Don't think you understand what I am looking for I know all about the upgraded knobs.
Its the black BUTTONS that have lost the colour that I am looking to replace or refurbish Aston martin price is over £700

Was typing the same as the 1st reply while you elaborated in your second post, hence my 'ignore me' edit.
No idea unfortunately how to refurbish the other buttons, I wouldn't like to try prising them off not knowing how they attach and even then it's going to be a specialist job to paint and label, and a replacement unit from a breaker is going to be like rocking horse poop or expensive.

BUTTONS....blooming BUTTONS ......NOT KNOBS.
there seems to be a strange fixation of certain posters regarding knobs.


p.s. Max ,as suggested,post a pic of your buttons .....but definitely not your knob.

They don't really take calls but respond to emails but that looks to be your easiest (if not cheapest) solution. I have just bought some bits from them that were described as "New but very lightly marked" and this was a very fair description of the condition so they seem to be reliable.
