Great cars.
Daily use no problem. Cheap to run. Can carry the family about. Awesome on a track. Very moddable (is that a word?!)
Love them.
When I saw the picture I immediately saw the numberplate and checked your profile whether it is a 'real' CSR.Daily use no problem. Cheap to run. Can carry the family about. Awesome on a track. Very moddable (is that a word?!)
Love them.
Turns out it is Retro CSR. So do you have the interior? Would you mind posting some more pictures?
Great, great cars those!!
L9 RPM seems to be RPM's 'house plate'. Currently on a 2016 Cayman.
Yes looks like PGNSagaris' 996 really is the RPM press car.

Thanks all. Yes, it is the original Retro CSR and the plate L9 RPM is now on RPM's GT4.
Love the car. Only change so far is I've replaced the drivers seat with a Recaro pole position and had it trimmed in the pasha as well. And added a deep sump.
Off to SPA and Nurburgring at the end of the month.
996's are awesome.

Gorgeous...!! What size / offset are the Fuchs please..?
Thank you. I'm sorry, offset I don't know of the top of my head but they are 18's. Have a look at the Fuchs homepage
Thanks cmoose. The car has oz alleggerita 18 inch alloys which are lighter than the standard Porsche items and suit the car really well I think. I was inspired by Jack Wood's black 996 GT3.2 if anyone knows that car! Inside is standard but I've removed the rear seats, the prehistoric Nav module and the CD interchanger as a further nod towards weight saving. GT3 side skirts and sunroof delete were factory options. Manual obviously.
The car is currently back at RPM having a GT3 front bumper fitted (but not the rear spoiler - for me that would be a bit much).
As well as the diff and the suspension, the list of mechanical mods is extensive but includes new front and rear lower arms, a hollow Eibach ARB, lightweight flywheel, and the 3rd radiator. The brake pads, lines and fluid has been uprated but I've retained standard discs for now. So far no warping and the car stops really well on track, helped by the full geo and corner weighting.
It's a fun car and nicely balanced on track.
