I have sent you PM in case this post that directs you to Willam Francis is blocked.
My posts about my thought process, which matches yours, are elsewhere on here.
I bought the car for £21k & spent £13k on repairs which have a warranty from Hartech,
So at sticker price there’s a good saving.
Not sure I'd class £1k as a good saving, but thanks for the email and best of luck with the sale (I'm looking for a hardtop).
Somewhat academic, but the correct answer to that equation is £6,000.

Oh, apologies, I had assumed the one above was yours without paying enough attention. Love the colour and the price with the rebuilt engine looks good too!

I only see 1 Hartech'ed 997 on ebay. And 1 x 996.
This is up near me:
https://www.gumtree.com/p/porsche/2008-porsche-911...

Would have been all over it but currently looking for a 997 Cabriolet instead of a coupe
Is that really where the market is for a Hartech'd 997.1? That money gets you into a nice 997.2 without the issues or too many miles...
Some people prefer to buy the .1 with all of it's known issues and inherent weaknesses freshly fixed. I think that car is expensive.

The 997.1 is better looking and sounds better too tongue out

There is so much wrong with this car and as such way to expensive! That is a £20k car.

Looks great!. Mine was due to come out of hibernation at the start of this month, but the weather had other plans! Will wait until May now. The underbody work is something I'm keen to investigate so that I can be slightly less sensitive to the rigors of the British winter. Would you mind sharing who it was that did the work on your car?

I did it myself, I just felt if I asked someone else to do it I would worry corners may have been cut and I wouldn’t know until it was too late. That said it was a horrible horrible job.

I relied on POR-15 & Bilt Hamber products since I’ve had good experience with these in the past. If you want more of an incite feel free to PM me or check out my Instagram: jimmy_boy_c_cars

Welcome from another 997.1 4S owner (in Cobalt Blue).

Btw, is that "Cobalt"? Looks a bit darker in those pictures.... almost Aqua Blue (but that was available on 997.2 only).

Nice turbo! Looks lower at the back than the front, is that just an illusion?

Cheers, hopefully an illusion

The car came with aftermarket sports springs, so the plan is to get a set of KW or Bilstein coilovers onto it ASAP with a good Geo.

Yep. Cobalt blue. I like the colour with tan leather. 34k from new.
