Slippy I'd have bought a C2S back in the day if it were not for choc engines. If you like driving and the odd track day this car is amazing. It was the best car in 997 range IMO by quite some distance. I've driven both gen 1 and 2. First one sounded a bit better. Second one went a bit better but was very muted not sure you can make that engine sound better.

4 months in of ownership and loving it, bit different from my 968.
Already, after getting a quicklift, drilled out 9 of the 12 manifold bolts, 4 days on my back, new AOS and oil fill neck, they break easy, all undertrays off and coated with XCP.
Just a few leaks to attend to and RMS, clutch to do someday.

New acquisition. Submitted to the inevitable last month. Still getting used to/optimising the PDK and PASM settings to make it work. Drive it harder seems to provide the best results

Have just completed swapping the engine mounts for semi-solid RS mounts, re-finished the PSE exhaust tips in satin black and it’s booked in for H&R spring fitment next month

Overall, really happy with the car. I did look at Cayman GTS, 996 turbo and (Vantage S, but talked out of it by SWMBO) and glad I went for the 997 in the end

The PSE with Sharkwerks cross pipe does sound great and can recommend. I’ve not yet sampled the Bose stereo as really there is no need. All the music is outside the car
