Says last change of ownership V5C in May 21 so after the Feb 21 Hartech rebuild. No idea the relevance of this but just mentioning it anyway. MOT history quite clean in last couple of years - link below - but not nice in 2020 with what looks like at least 12 months without an MOT and a big list of failures. Presumably all addressed in the big Feb 21 refurb.
I would suspect their partner spotted the bill and told them it had to go.... nothing like a big bill to shatter dreams, but great for the next owner. Happened to a good friend of mine about 15 years ago with a Boxster, took one for team Pork and an engine rebuild which his partner was most displeased about.

He then went and spent the funds on a TVR Tuscan 6 months later. He's now divorced and drives a knackered Kia Sportage biglaugh

(Nowt wrong with a Sportage, just not quite on a level with a Tuscan)

I explained the cost/risk to my wife ahead of time and she said to buy it anyway. Although my car is a 997.2, so a lot less risk.

An EV plus a 997.1 is Pistonhead Nirvana!
Good to know I'm not alone here. Tesla Model S and a 2005 997.1 C2S. Great mix

Manual 997.2 Turbo. Don't see many of these. Perfect colour for it too imo.

Oooh! I do like this little beauty...although my fondness for purple cars is perhaps a tad irrational.

Just wondering if there is too much of a premium on this 997 GTS due solely to the colour and rarity?

Probably a bit (I'm a big fan too), but it's also very low miles so at the high end of PDK GTS'.

Wow, amazing colour! I'm assuming this is a PTS?

It wasn't PTS back then - it was on the 997.2 brochure as an optional colour.

Wow... these have really gone up recently. I remember seeing one at RPM about 18 months ago for around £75k and thinking that was expensive. I guess I was wrong. As usual, where cars are concerned, tbf!
