A few updates. All the windows are out and dashboard is part out ahead of being retrimmed and also to replace the A/C units. Have now decided to go for a respray since so much of the car is already stripped and original paint is okay but not perfect. The colour? Viper green of course. Can't resist.

Does make sense to repaint it whilst it is so bare.
I know it would mean repainting the calipers but imho I would go with yellow-green over viper as it seems to pop a bit better.
Couple of pics to see the difference, yellow-green with the decals.

Viper

Or even brighter and go acid green but that is a long way from viper?

I do like that lighter green, have also debated going lighter in my mind. Didn't know it was called yellow-green though. Just not sure if it will stand the test of time. i wonder if its a bit too lambo? For me viper green feels like a solid option. And not fancying redoing the calipers as already now having to redo the ducktail and seat backs that have already been painted white.....

On another note since the dashboard is out am taking the opportunity to change the 10 year old A/C units. The evaporator though is pricey at around £1200 as seems to only come as a complete unit with the housing. Does anyone know if it can be purchased on its own or happen to have a part number for it? Thanks

I can understand you sticking with Viper.
You will just have to think carefully about colours of decals, stripes etc against the green as could be tricky
Try to keep away from yellow!!

Are you still using the sports seats or have you bought new ones?

Hoping this is as bad as it gets, as right now my lovely GT3 is feeling a distant memory and the new version a pipe dream....

Thank you. Fingers crossed..... still need to remove the roof yet though and replace with the carbon one. That is the bit that's worrying me.... I also hope they did some good diagrams of the electrics.....
