I use the tune to air wma1000 in my V8V MY09 since 3 years w/o any problem.

The tune2air is now under the Bovee name. It works very well, although it can drop on occasion, but rarely. Will connect to Bluetooth for A2DP(music) and also to the car's Hands Free at the same time.

No additional stuff to load on the iPhone, just pair via Bluetooth and it should do it’s job. Maybe your car interface is crook?
