likely delivery date is end March, the spec has now been submitted to the factory, so within the next few days we should get a better indication of the build date. if anything the dealer thinks the delivery might come forward. will let you know.
Thanks S.....heard today my 911T build has been brought forward hoping GT3 follows suit.

So when is the first Touring arriving in the UK? Mine's not coming until early March. I'm assuming a lot of people will wait until 1 March if they land in Feb, but let's get some pictures up soon.

I was told today by an OPC on the continent that 40 of their 50 (yes 50) 2018 allocations are Touring!

No reason to doubt the veracity of that statement, but I was quite surprised to say the least. That said, they had 5 cars there today, and yes, 4 were Touring.

Must be a big dealership group to be getting 50 GT3s.

I might be wrong, but I thought GT3 production commenced back in July 2017. The Touring was announced in September 2017, and the first cars are coming out of the Factory this month (Jan 2018)

Have any even arrived in the UK yet?

Not sure how it works in Europe (this was a German dealership). I’m sure he referred just to 2018 allocations though otherwise it just wouldn’t be possible as you say with 2017 allocations dominated by winged cars pre touring option.

Mine is arriving in the U.K. in the first week of Feb but won’t be going on the road until 1st March.

There are cars being delivered on the continent but I don’t know of any RHD Tourings that have hit the road yet. I expect there will be a “flood” in March for the new 18 plate.

Interestingly, I gather the Touring option has been very popular in the Swiss and German market, less so in the U.K. and very limited take up in the US.

Would be great to see official numbers from Porsche when production has been completed.

OPC I was referring to was German so that correlates.

It would be a big dealership group but I imagine the UK's bigger dealership groups would get a similar amount of cars. I can imagine the Swiss in particular going for the Touring...I don't know but I imagine enthusiast drivers there would be more interested in driving mountain passes than race tracks. And things like RS Audi's are massively popular which are a bit of a Q car.

Mine in production now. Arrives Feb 10th and will not wait until March 1st as it's going on a private plate and I have waited long enough.

Contrary to the above I was told few second batch GT3's chose Touring, one or two per dealer. I could believe 50% manuals but not that many being Tourings. Will check next time I speak to my OPC.

Realistically we're not looking at any more than 2 touring per dealer as they're all second batch and thats a small allocation.
34 OPC so perhaps 70 odd total for the UK.

My OPC is getting either 3 or 4 Tourings in the next few months.

100 UK wide?! Hah! Just come back from collecting my GT4 after service from Cardiff OPC John. They're great on the service side there. Didn't see your old GT4 although i didn't look too hard. They did a good job of cleaning it as it was filthy!

They were very kind and have me a 718 cayman as a loan car. Interesting car... frown

God I love the GT4. Its a total f***ing bargain... oh and free even though I paid 87k for it - over list!

They also have a 2016 718S there in Lava and specced to the moon and back..Manual,leather,buckets,sport chrono, sports exhaust,PTV,LSD,LEDs(PDLS+),-20mm SS,20'' Carrera sport alloys and PCCBs. Epic spec and new list £73k asking £58k for it..
Only one caveat as i have a sneaking suspicion its an ex-press car..Could be wrong on this..!

Thats a huge spec and what an epic depreciation! Makes a GT4 a complete no brainer?

Surely the Press Cars get retailed through one of the Porsche GB OPC's ? Or am I wrong ?!

Has anyone seen EVO magazines review of the GT3 Touring this month. It’s really poor. It’s lazy. I’ve been an avid EVO fan since the early days, but it’s getting really bad. I’m considering cancelling my subscription.
