Maybe 911 R's are going to find a slightly lower price point.....4 lightly used examples up for sale at OPC's Most I have seen for sale I think. Looks like Tom Hartley Jr has just sold one too although don't think it was ever listed. Guessing it transacted below these prices.

To me, just waiting for it to be registered. Big overs. A fool and his money...

Excited to get behind the wheel now.

M600 feels like it was fitted with warp drive rather than an engine. But I’ve got too many cars so it’s about to go up for sale with DK.

I don't think you will be driving the GT4 after you pick this up ;-)

will look forward to what you think vs what you have already esp as you own my fav super sports car, the 458S and also have the Performante another car I seem to sway too now the 458S is a tad toppy £ wise.

if you take out the £400k plus value cars which car do you like the best to drive ?

And does the performante get close to the 458S, I have only driven the latter.

I would have thought the spread between an R and GT3 Touring in r-h-d should be circa £100k - thus currently an R should be priced circa 300 and a T circa 200 large. at this money I think both represent reasonable value for what the cars are and compared to classic air cooled 911's.

My Pistonheads garage is a little out of date. The Performante is already gone - ballistic but if anything too competent to enjoy on the road.

Taking value and 'specialness' out of the equation, my favourite cars to drive at the moment are probably the V12VS and the GT4. The GT4 will probably be sold once the GT3 arrives, we'll see.

cheers I am sure the GT4 will be gone quick smart, having had both I don't miss mine bar the mini GT looks.
The new Engine will blow you away and matched to shorter ratio's than the GT4 it's a match made in heaven imo. one would think the GT3 has forced induction going from GT4 to GT3 lol GT4 is a great car but will feel lifeless after you drive the new car which is hard to believe I know.

Taking into account the low nos for RHD GT3 Touring's, and what the car actually is all about I see fair value around 220-240k. With 991 R being around 150 more. For now I think the market has priced this spot on.

That’s a lovely car dad_drive, congratulations. I was very tempted by Sapphire Blue myself but plumped for GTSM in the end.

Came out of a GT4 and into the Touring and prefer the GT3 in every measure. Recently did a 1000 mile round trip of Wales and the car was just wonderful and much more fun / engaging than the GT4. Found that car very able and a great package but missing a little character, especially the engine, which the GT3 has in spades.

Will be interested to see how you like it. Speciale is one of my favourite cars but outside of my budget. One day!

I don't, they are advertised for that but sticking. Just offered Touring at £200, black with 500 miles and know the R is changing hands well below the 'hopeful' ad's up there at the moment. Have you one of each per chance wink.

If its Black/ Black with CCBDs, and the must have 918 Full Elec height adjust buckets, 200k Then I will buy that. Last 2 991Rs that I know to in last 2 Months made 375 and 365, but I get that market has dropped tailed off a bit since then.

The UK R prices don't make sense to me. I have recently been car shopping, and on the rounds, I came across a well-specced delivery milage German delivered R in GT silver that I could of had for 235,000 euros. I bought a 997 RS 4.0 instead as it looked a much better buy when compared to the R. The UK car prices need to be £300K max in my opinion. I feel for those that paid 400K plus for one, Porsche royally shafted them by launching the touring biggrin

Why do I need to do that nothings for sale. I have a good friend who did not get an R looking for a Black Black Touring. Has budget of 200k Tops. Also market sets price always has, not what's said on here.

A LHD R for £210k ?! Blimey. That sounds rather good value. Dare I ask what the 4.0 cost ballpark?

You got a 4.0 for less than €235k which was the price you could have bought a R? Really?

Well I don't think Porsche screwed the loons who bought cars at £400k. They took a chance and paid the flipper prices - it didn't work out as it wasn't the last <insert the blank>. Tough.
