First Porsche - 997

Evening chaps and chapettes.

Having promised myself a 911 since before I can remember and now being in the fortunate position to be able to buy one I have spent the last few months watching the market and shortlisting potential purchases.

There is one car that I intend to view which is a 2007 C4S, however when I do a reg check it shows as being a Carrera GT. Now, I thought I knew every itineration of 911 but I don’t recall ever seeing a 997 GT. Can anyone shed any light on this, or could it be a simple clerical error?

A Carrera GT will cost you significantly more to buy and insure than a 997.....

It will most likely be either an admin error, or a recent reg number change that hasn't flowed through yet. Use Cazana if you want the full history, it helps to show the reg number history etc.

Turns out some numpty at an MOT station at one point selected the car incorrectly in the system.
