£137,799 - wow that is a LOT of options. Must include some extra leather. Good for you and I certainly look forward to seeing your spec.

If they had allowed PTS then I think I would have gone all out and probably got close to £140k. ATM I’m comfortable just under £129k although that probably makes it unsaleable - lol

LED's I have on the Cayenne and love them and I really like the idea of the Yellow Stitching. Racing Yellow is in contention as a colour or me...if/when allocation comes through it's down to Carmine Red, Racing Yellow and Lava Orange. Latter wasn't under consideration until I saw an LO GT3 at my OPC last week.

£6k is a huge amount of money no doubt but if (I hope) I am going to spend £130k I want to get exactly what I want.

actually called them to order a vanilla 911 and they wouldn't even call me back to get that order locked.. maybe these guys do have too much business after all..

Nope...still on tenterhooks. From what I understand the order book for a C2S is a year out...that's the trouble with launching a model like the T those build slots have to come from somewhere.

I sincerely hope you all get an allocation. The waiting/no information sucks big time but makes an eventually successful outcome so much sweeter. The downside, though, is that some will never experience the upside. There has to be a better way to run the allocation system: one that doesn't leave people hanging on, in the dark, for such a protracted period of time.

Just spent a fun hour with the OPC finalising my spec. It is now complete! For those interested, here it is - PJU2D9Q6. The main dilemma was Folding Buckets or Full Bucket Seats. I wanted Folding, but I still think they sit too high so I have gone for Full Buckets which are height adjustable.

I wasn't criticising your choices; on the contrary i think you have excellent taste..IMO Lava or Carmine would both look awesome on the new GT3 and reassuringly rare to boot.There is no wrong choice and sometimes in periods on indecision it pays to go with your gut instinct.

I didn't even begin to think there was an ounce of criticism in what you'd written. Salient observation I would say! I do get carried away on the configurator...too carried away. When I think what the box ticking has added up to on the last two cars I have bought it's a big number...too big if I am honest. Add that to what my ideal spec would be on a GT3 and it's an eye watering number now I think about it.
