Anyone for ‘T’

I've messaged my dealer too, awaiting answer on DAB. I'll keep up to date on here.
My spec at time of order is attached
On the new ‘standard features’ on the configurator the Connect ‘stuff’ seems to have disappeared as well.... Maybe that’s now deemed to be included under the PCM, but certainly not as detailed as the above post...My spec at time of order is attached
Very interesting/ annoying / irritating/ stupid..!?
Have you looked on the German Porsche configurator to see if it's also changed (although appreciate due to differences in DAB throughout Europe this may not help)?
Reason I say that is with my recent 991.2 GTS build, I added LED headlights which at the time of my order included PDLS+. Just before I took delivery, I noticed that the UK configurator had been updated and that the description for the lights only included PDLS (the + makes all the difference). Checked on the German site and even with my basic language skills, could see that PDLS+ was still included. Thankfully when the car arrived, the German website was correct and I have the all important + on mine.
Might not be relevant, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is more a glitch with the configuaror rather than how the cars are actually built.

UPDATE ON DAB
Apparently first UK T’s to arrive, and those now built, do not have DAB even if ordered with it in the spec sheet. As it wasn’t an option to tick it seems a bit of a cock up.
I’ve been told Porsche Uk are working on a retro-fit for those ordered with it prior to it appearing separately on the config. However if you’ve ordered recently you need to tick the no-cost option.
I’ve looked on German and Dutch configs today and it’s a EUR500 option

Oh great, so I won’t be getting DAB then, my car is due at the start of March, I ordered on 30th October. Apparently first UK T’s to arrive, and those now built, do not have DAB even if ordered with it in the spec sheet. As it wasn’t an option to tick it seems a bit of a cock up.

Yes dealer came back to me with the same comment this afternoon.... car may be appearing at the dealers next week, so I’d like to know there is at least a fix before I get it... Won’t stop me having it but how many other near 100k cars don’t have DAB..... Bit of a joke that...! Has anyone looked at the fact the ‘connect’ stuff seems to have disappeared from the standard spec?
My car has been built without DAB
That's bad enough, but if it wasn't for this forum, would we have found out? Porsche has not bothered contacting early purchasers even though they know they've built the cars with a bit missing.
Were they hoping to keep it quiet? Hope we take delivery and not notice until some time later, if at all? After all, I doubt many purchasers check the radio out before accepting a new car.
The people reading this thread are probably the only ones who know about this issue

I also have a nagging feeling that despite many many many assurances from the dealer the privacy glass ISN’T the lightweight glass..
This relatively minor dab issue has got me concerned about that again... how hard can it be to get this stuff right..?
Not that I worry about stuff, BTW....but when you want what you want .......it has to be right.....! It is a 100k car.!
Can anyone close to Teeside go and have a look at their demo and report back!!!!! That’s got privacy glass.!!

On the configurator, start off with the lightweight glass then add rear wiper - you are prompted to either add privacy glass (rear or side and rear) or to delete lightweight glass. I infer from this that the wiper needs non-lightweight glass - ergo privacy glass is not lightweight

Exactly the same deduction I had, but was told and have emails to confirm from the dealers .....that the privacy glass is the lightweight glass.... That will be an immense argument if my original opinion and yours is correct.!!

I've ordered the rear privacy glass, and I agree it looks as though its not going to be lightweight glass. Does this mean you will get a heated rear window, it's deleted with the lightweight glass. Noooo... tell me it's not so. How can they screw up the glass.
I have emails where the dealer had gone back to Porsche and back to me and the order was set as lightweight glass with privacy.
The choice at the time was LW or heated. I went LW.
Given the choice between lightweight or privacy, I'd have again gone LW.
What next? 4-pot cayman engine?

At least you have the sides in lightweight glass... mine will be the heaviest 911 this side of a Turbo....!!I have emails where the dealer had gone back to Porsche and back to me and the order was set as lightweight glass with privacy.
