Just received an email from Top 555 who have a T for sale.

The general opinion on this thread seems to be that a basic car with just the essentials is the way to go, this Top 555 car is absolutely loaded, expensive at £104k and supposedly below list, anyone looking for a fully loaded spec, `I guess it would need to be a keeper, it may be worth a look.

I cannot see anyone buying at that price unless its a keeper.

Just looked at it. Properly daft spec. Burmeiset, 18 way seats, Lane Change, Homelink etc etc. I can understand someone speccing that lot on a daily drive GTS or Turbo but on a car that's supposed to be a lightened driver focused car it's a really odd spec.

I would call around the dealers as they have lots of new T's in stock so you can buy something and be the first owner and probably get a bit of a deal.

LOL, sod what’s in the glovebox.

In France in mine and loving it more with every mile.

These cars will be recognised for what they are in due course...

I could not agree with you more. I am totally in love with this car unlike my previous 911's and it was the positive feedback on this forum which convinced me to take the plunge. Every drive is an event and I'm going out so much more just so I can drive the car. It certainly creates a big stir and thumbs up wherever it goes.
I think the dealers have a lot of oddly specced T's as back in April I was struggling to find the right one although someone did say Mayfair has a manual yellow one. I just can't see how Porsche can better this car with all the EU restraints coming in. All immaterial to me as this is a keeper.

Also in France for Le Mans Classic in my T, love it. Perfect on these roads and just special enough for the odd glance back over the shoulder when walking away from it.

Jealous of your classic Le Mans trip, wish I could have joined you. I'm at over 3k miles in mine and cannot believe just how good of a 911 it is.
Mine's a keeper too I think.
Let's have another photo smile

Is the T limited or can you just walk in to a dealership and order?

It was limited by available build slots, same as most models. The order book is closed now though, as is the factory laugh

There are plenty of new/ very lightly used cars available though if you have a ring around the dealers. Lovely new yellow one just sitting in Mayfair's showroom. Looks cracking.

I love my T: there’s something about the blend of the parts that makes this thing so tractable. One of the nicest things I have bought. To all those reading who think they would like one just do it. This is not a luxury tourer or PlayStation beast. Rather think of it as having the near directness of a Caterham but with rather more comfort. And there is no doubt the thing is very quick yet perfectly sensible and manageable for on-road normal driving. Nobody else is having mine for a long time - possibly until I’m too old to get into it!!!

Appreciate you love your car and love can be blind but directness of a Caterham? Really?
