They’re having a laugh Shirley!?

Annoy everyone by quoting “supply chain issues” for things not being on the configurator and then as if by magic buckets and Bose become available on the same day as the price increase!!!

‘Am ooot !!

My dealer tried yesterday, supposedly can't be done.

Two questions about the 992.1 T :
- When might pccbs be an available option ?
- Presumably, production will cease when the 2024 992.2 production commences ?

Yep, confirmed by my dealer too. Buckets orderable from June onwards but this would mean being subject to the price increase. I have stuck with my original spec and locked in today.

I can catergorically state that production will continue beyond July 2023 fot T's as long as demand is there, as the options i wanted arent available on early cars and i have been told that all options should be available for MY24 cars.

Make of that what you will!!

Well I've just had a call from my OPC and the official line from from Porsche GB is Bose will never become an option on the T :-(. I'll be very annoyed if it suddenly appears on the MY24 T!!!!
Id be going back to my OPC if i were you and having a very stern word with them!!

From memory it’s 5000 worldwide. Pretty low numbers in the UK if howmanyleft is accurate?

Interestingly I had an allocation but passed on it as I had an accident, spoke with the OPC yesterday and they haven’t actually ordered/received any T’s yet. Getting cars is still a nightmare! I’m now taking mine as he never cancelled it.

Back to the configurator I go.

Those figures are pretty much consistent with those posted previously on here.

IIRC I read that only four were/are blue. Is that right, does anyone know?

Any clue as to the split between Manuel and PDK versions?
I'm very tempted by a 991 T yet most of those appearing on the Porsche Approved site are PDK? I would prefer a manual for a few reasons

I’m price protected, however dealers just advised that despite spec not being locked those options won’t add to car, it has to be a 24MY placed at higher price.

So it seems you can only have Bose and buckets if you delay and pay the 7k extra base price.

On balance I think I’ll stick with the car that’s build next month, I’m effectively getting an t for the price of a 2024my c2, only question overnight is whether to pick Python over Gt silver given it’s been withdrawn.
My dealer is saying that I will need to pay the MT24 price. I've only paid my deposit so far and have not been asked to lock the specification. Are others in the same situation being given price protection? Thanks.

You go through 3 steps

1. Pay deposit
2. Get a confirmed allocation / build slot
3. Lock your spec

If you got to 2 or 3 and your allocation is for a 23MY car then you get the relevant price that applied, although buckets / bose etc not available.

That is the situation sadly, if they don’t have any MY23 allocations left then your car will be a MY24 and the new price

Finmac, Benno, thanks for the clarification. I'm just a little cross.

My modest build goes from £102.8k to £110.6 which is a jump. I'm not interested in the bucket / Bose options so am getting the same car and paying £7,800 more..

How do you know it’s the same car ?
Don’t MY or Price rises sometimes come with a few improvements or equipment upgrades ?

They used to - this time as far as my limited research suggests they don’t and indeed all the extras have jumped significantly as well. Makes a highly optioned car incrementally even more expensive annoyingly.

I've been led to believe there will be a few items added as standard with the price increase!

Spoke to my opc yesterday and my allocation stands at the old price. He’s not sure what’s going to happen and if there will be any changes or if I can option the Bose etc.

Communication between manufacturer and dealer doesn’t seem to be particularly good, I completely understand as my business has exactly the same issue.
