Has anyone taken delivery of a T from Porsche Solihull? I was told there are about 5 orders in front of mine.

My deposit left my bank on 25th Nov 22 and I haven't been asked to confirm my spec yet. Which I think means that I don't have an allocated build. Any info on the process welcome.

Order nearly finalised for April build, is this too much of a stripper spec - anything essential missing, have I overdone it.....

In many ways that’s exactly what a ‘T’ should be.

I was 4th at my dealers, but two of the buyers wanted PTS, one wanted to wait to see if carbon buckets became available so I got bumped up - happy days. Worth getting on the blower to them and chasing regularly.

Does anyone know what is the total forecasted volumes of 992 T production?

According to Total911 magazine, they made 5000 of 991 T. Seem a little high, but possible for world-wide figures.

On a T I'd personally go even more stripper spec and not order rear seats, folding mirrors (unless you park in narrow streets) and heated GT steering wheel

From memory it’s 5000 worldwide. Pretty low numbers in the UK if howmanyleft is accurate?

Interestingly I had an allocation but passed on it as I had an accident, spoke with the OPC yesterday and they haven’t actually ordered/received any T’s yet. Getting cars is still a nightmare! I’m now taking mine as he never cancelled it.

Back to the configurator I go.

Mine's even more stripped out. No rear seats / reverse camera / folding mirrors for me. Have only added a few Racetex bits and RWS.

I was advised reverse camera and folding mirrors pretty much essential spec should I ever resell.

I was torn over rear seats, I’d have gone buckets if possible and if so then no rear seats….

I would definitely want reverse camera and folding mirrors. These are not expensive options given the car price.

Agreed, while I defo spec a car the way I want it I’ve also learned the hard way with spec down the years that there’s always a few “essentials” on certain cars that if you don’t add them Makes the cars a real handful to sell later on.

Just seen that, seems to depend which link you follow.

Full buckets and Bose both now available….. asking dealer if my spec locked or open. Python green has been pulled.

I think I’m in luck, spec doesn’t lock until next week so I can add both.

I’m price protected, however dealers just advised that despite spec not being locked those options won’t add to car, it has to be a 24MY placed at higher price.

So it seems you can only have Bose and buckets if you delay and pay the 7k extra base price.

On balance I think I’ll stick with the car that’s build next month, I’m effectively getting an t for the price of a 2024my c2, only question overnight is whether to pick Python over Gt silver given it’s been withdrawn.

Makes sense Benno and I'd also do what you have decided if I were in your position.
