I wonder how many .2 GT3 owners will get an RS, possibly the people that received their GT3 in the first wave will have a better chance because they'll be higher on the DP's prefered list?
Possible. But, from what I’m hearing that won’t be the case 100%, I for instance have done a fair amount of business with my OPC last year, in turn I got offered a .2GT3-RS, I had originally wanted a .2GT3 they offered me the option of either, I had a .1GT3 and RS both bought for overs, but sold them a while ago

Or given that the RS allocation last time was so over subscribed and certain dealers have no doubt " promised " certain customers that they will get one this time it could be that no Gen 2 lucky owners will get one ?

With the best will in the world someone who got a .3 GT3 should probably be overlooked for a .2 3RS so they are spread around. Happy to be corrected.

I was told, in a way, this is what going to happen.

So, are they really going to call dude customer with Gen1 GT3 to part ex for Gen2 GT3RS before they consider the dude with a Gen2 GT3. What do you reckon..?..It sounds fair and workable..?..

Some OPC's do some don't.
Some will use it as an excuse to those that will be missing out. The best customers will still get both...

Also told it’s going to be a 4.2 PDK Only to be announced at Geneva.

Production window sounded very short, can’t remember what it was exactly as I was already day dreaming 😄 I’ll find out tomorrow tho.

Far from it. A .2gt3 owner prepared to px the car back at the OPC at a 'very good price' is likely going to have a far better choice of getting the .2 3rs especially if not one of the vips who get everything regardless.

P.S and I disagree it will be a 4.2. 4.0 is imo the only logical option with probably 525PS. Happy for someone to quote this back at me in a few weeks though if it turns out to be bs. wink

It absolutely should be shared and I believe some OPC's are now doing this.

I know for the .2 GT3 a bloke I used to work with who is I would say a VIP of his OPC (he's getting a GT2 RS and has an R) didn't get a .2 GT3 and was really fked off....the .2 RS helped him get over it though. I'll be interested to see if he gets a .2 GT3 RS.

Why is it on pages 22 and 23 of this month's Evo that came last week then?

It was supposed to be earlier in Feb I believe but only recently got moved back to this week. Presumably the mags and such had already sent off everything for printing/publication...

Does anyone know if the Porsche centres know their allocation numbers yet? Anyone been "officially" appointed a car?

It’s not worth the cost of the call to the local OPC for many of their long established customers,

But that’s nothing new .....

Just had confirmation from the OPC that they still don't know allocations numbers yet.
