I only found out yesterday that by pressing both mirror buttons together they fold in... And now it has created a problem!
The passenger side will not lock in the correct position either folded in or in the driving position. It wants to stay about 30 degrees away from where it should be. It clicks into a position but it is not the correct position.....
And if that was not bad enough, I can only adjust the mirrors when they are in the folded in position not when they are in the driving position!
I am quite prepared to remove the passenger mirror to see if anything has "moved" but no idea how to get them to adjust when back in the driving position
HELP!

It sounds like a mechanical fault with that passenger mirror.

Did they fold and open normally when locking/unlocking the car previously. Mine did not work at all when I purchased the car from an AM approved dealer but it was only a programming feature that was not activated. Maybe you should try and get them reprogrammed?

Had similar issue with passenger mirror, I put them back into the closed position then whilst my wife pressed both buttons I gently helped the mirror by hand. Once in the open position I took both mirrors off the arm and lubricated the mechanism with WD40, this was almost a year back and have not had any problems since. Hope yours is just as easy a fix smile

Thank you
To remove the mirror to lubricate, do I just remove the two screws or do I need to remove the casing and/or the mirror glass ?

Before you take them to bits try using the little straw attachment on a can of WD40 to get into the pivot area, and then cycling them a few times, giving them a helping hand if sluggish.

That's all I did to mine when I bought it 8 months ago and they have behaved since, not sure on the adjustment issue though, mine adjusts when folded out so sounds like either a programming issue or a broken wire making intermittent contact when flexed in certain positions somewhere.

Just the two screws, from memory you have to push the mirror back on itself to reveal one of the screws. I made sure and had some rags as protection from scratching any paintwork then just sprayed plenty of WD40

Thanks for your help I will give it a go.
I am at a disadvantage as I live in France and no AM service centers near by, the earest is 5 hours drive !
I am bringing it over for a service in April but want to fix it before then.
I bought the car in UK last August and love it to bits but concerned about any ongoing issues. Getting parts delivered from UK is ok and I am friendly with the local Citroen garage who are happy to do simple jobs like changing brake pads etc. but obviously nothing too technical!
