Done to death on the serious whys and wherefores, but just for fun. Who out there is ploughing on (literally in some places) and who’s hedgehogging theirs? I can’t be doing with all that bottle into storage malarky myself, mainly as I’d have to walk everywhere biggrin. I was trying to avoid this week after our lot dumped salt everywhere but I needed to go to the proper shops after day 2 so that little hunger protest didn’t last long biggrin.

I'm still using mine at weekends but do jetwash the underside when I wash it using one of those 90 adapters. Will give it a proper wash underneath in the spring.

I was on the M40 earlier and spotted 3 991 GT3's sat in the monstrous tailbacks following an accident. Good on them for getting out there!

Did Bedford today in my 987S
Was ridiculous, slipping & sliding everywhere whilst my mate powered on in his much faster but less fun RS4
Very little grip but the good news was it focused me on following the lines
My old 997 C4S would have been the right tool for the job
But either way I was out in it having fun & am driving the Maserati too. Will deal with underbody rust as & when & enjoy driving my nice cars throughout.

Im enjoying my 991 c2s come rain or shine as my daily commute. Its a 40mile round trip and with a few trips further afield I've done 7k in 5 months, loving every minute of it.

Got my technique down now, 1 litre of warm water over the screen on frosty days, heated seats to 2 bars, heater on full tilt, then tiptoe of the drive so i don't bother the neighbours, then hit the loud button, and ................follow the traffic all the way to work and back:-)

No dramas, but I've got to be honest leaving and getting home in the dark isn't much fun, when the clocks go back the journey becomes much more enjoyable.

Work overseas. Everything hibernates until I get back, then gets used and put away. Just need more time off in the summer though...
