Been going through some of my granddads old pictures, and found a picture of his 1960's S-Type from when it was pretty much new, the reg is CCP 326C but there's no info from the DVLA site about when it was last taxed?

There's two possibilities.

First is that it's had a plate swap, and had somebody's personal plate put on it. I don't think there's any easy way to trace it after that.

The more likely one is that it's long since been scrapped. Perhaps it never even got moved from the original county council registration to DVLA in the early 70s. CP would have been a Halifax plate.

Either way, the chance of it surviving are very slim. They made 25k of 'em, after all.

I figured either it'd been scrapped long long ago as you said, or it'd been restored and put on a nice private reg. Probably never gonna find out. Although I'm pretty sure he had it until the mid 70's, would be nice to think it's been restored, but I guess I'll never know. Cheers anyway
