Not one on this...

or...

The one on the NSX, blew off following a vmax attempt, made quite a nice mosaic actually. The Caterham had one, but a speed bump ate it, as well as a lot of the bottom of the car.

In all the time I have driven these cars not once have I been pulled over or had to face the wrath of a PH 'number plate enthusiast' in the street. Clearly I am doing something wrong. Is there anybody else who dares to contravene the law and flout their personal responsibilities in such a reckless way?

I'm not a drug dealer, I am not a criminal. I don't care what people think (much) but I guess it's nice to not think that the entire universe is against you? My front number plates on all these have come off because they look st, nothing else to it.

Of course tomorrow I will get pulled and fined a million bit coins biggrin Seriously though, is it really such a big deal?

Bikes don't have a front plate, most anprs are rear facing....

....the Westfield has a legal spec, size and spaced plate, but stuck on the near flat and slightly curved nose.

Never had an issue with that, or not showing tax before they changed the rule on that. Including being pulled over for 'enthusastic' driving.

MOT history says it's a Reliant Rialto - maybe it's been turned upside down & the wheels removed confused

Evidently you care what people think, or you wouldn't care that they look st.

Perhaps he cares that it looks like st due to not liking how it looks having it installed. Rather than feeling the need to get rid of them for other peoples eyes

It was a cool boat, a cool RR, and an Atom. The quintessential British car show where things don't have to be explained.

I’m not sure I understand this thread, but the concept of driving a boat to work rather than an suv which handles like a boat is kind of attractive.

I'm not sure a missing front plate is the greatest thing of note with this car. It seems to have other, slightly more serious, issues.

That boat must score well for pedestrian safety, plough into a crowd and it simply pushes them either side, like Moses. Unless you get kebabbed of course. I wonder if it floats....

If it does I suggest you rent rather than buy.

But normal front number plates are so boooooring!

I didn't put the sticky plate on the TVR but I do think that the design doesn't lend itself to a full size plastic one. Personally number plates don't bother me, apart from when there's no clear reason other than 'scene'. Anything with a gaping number plate recess on the bumper but the plate in the window looks gash.

Before the brigade turn up, yes I am aware that they look terrible, will never pass an MOT, that one day I will get pulled over and fined fifty bajillion pounds, and that I am a fine dodging scumbag.

Does anyone really give a st?
