I've been offered three different T's, all pre specced totally different to what i would have done..Two have PDK, all have glass roof and none have my personal 'must have' which is RAS..
The closest to my spec is a Lava but its got privacy glass ffs and with all the toys up for £102K..I was so engrossed in my GT3 i never really considered a T .I also bought a new Panamera Sport Turismo last December and i thought then that having already bought four new high end Porsches in seven months it was enough..
As i said before our local economy is really struggling right now and i'm starting to feel like a right plonker driving all these new Porsches...
Having said all that i'm off down tomorrow to my OPC to test drive their Macca 570S and see what they have which might complement my GT3..

So what to do this summer.

Blessed with .1 RS and GT4 and need to make room. Do I sell them both and await the lottery of the .2 RS

GT4 just is not getting used when they are sat next to each other the RS keys get picked up 99% of the time. Will I get my money back on RS if I get a .2 slot or do I sell now

Keep both for now as you'll them as bargaining tools to help secure the new RS..

Where is your car? I have heard that the 21st May release date is for release from the factory to set off for the UK, so cars won’t be here until early June.

Yep, I will be collecting on Monday once the insurance is sorted and it’s taxed.

The dealers did receive that memo last weekend (Saturday) so I assumed mine would not be leaving Emden. Then got the nod that the car would be arriving at the dealer on Thursday, which it did. I know of another one that is meant to be on the boat from Emden soon.

So, I assume that if your car was already at Emden, then it may arrive soon.

By the way - Porsche now offer 5 days free insurance again - so if not offered then ask about it. But their online system doesn’t have the RS listed yet, lol

Also, for anyone getting finance - the rates rise on 1st April, so get a proposal by Monday as it should last for 3 months and you will be able to use it when your car arrives - assuming within 3 months.

Agree terry , think there is no policy per se , just some delays , mine was in transport last week so will see . By the way did you request Dunlop tyres ?

Have you asked for screen shots on the progress of your car? I got one a few days ago and its shown as ahead of schedule in build but still leaving factory on same date as previous, 4th May. Hopefully that will be brought forward.
The arrival dates in UK show early June but dealership said to ignore those as rule of thumb is 2 weeks delivery after leaving factory.
It’s dry, the sun is shining, I want my car.

It’s luck of the draw whether you get Dunlops or Cup2’s. I’ve had both before and they are both very good - extremely good in fact.

Mine is enroute to Grimbsy, the port for northern deliveries. Hope to have it this week. Sport chrono and reversing camera .

This will possibly / likely be my last new 911 if the next RS is turbocharged.

I just saw on the BBC news of an outbreak of toxic catepillars, best tell them the LIzards are here and will sort it.

I don't care what tyres it comes on, if they are not exactly what you need then change them after they wear out for your best choice.

Strange , Terry b . "luck of the Draw " , anyway enjoy soon . Yes MajorDad must be excited and interesting to hear your thoughts as to if it really is a "big" step forward .
Yes lots of Lizards incoming , really wanted to , but living in London all the caterpillars have died from the pollution !
