PPF, Ceramic Coating - which did you go for?

Nice! Pretty much what I had done, front PPF and ceramic coating over the top of everything else.
I'm liking these new Panameras. Followed one on my way out of work last night.
Happy with it- twin turbo and quite quick. Obviously the colour choice is not for everyone but it works for me Deleted all chrome and tail badging. I'm liking these new Panameras. Followed one on my way out of work last night.
So my wife's Abarth 595 Comp is shortly arriving ( a full 4 weeks earlier than planned).
It will be her run around / our fun car for the next couple of years. After destroying my metallic black I3 paint work (its our commuter which does 26k a year) with swirls all over the shop (even after being careful with a snowfoam / two bucket method/ fresh mits and towels) I would like to protect her car a little more carefully.
So has anyone in the Portsmouth / Guildford area have any recommendations for detailers who ceramic coat. I've emailed F1 WAXs after seeing his work on a certain Youtuber's Abarth Biposto. But he A. might be blinken expensive preferring to work with some very exotic metal instead B. Have a packed 2 months with no slot for me.
EDIT: Didnt realise this thread was in the Porsche sub forum but as this is the most comprehensive thread on PH for this topic and i'm not going to rehash my credentials on Detailing World i hope you all dont mind me leaving my question here!

Paint's paint, detailing is detailing. Doubt if anyone would mind.Other detailer options with the Gyeon ceramic coatings: http://gyeonquartz.com/distributors-detailers/?c=2...
Mine is booked into Reep Midlands...haven't used them before but impressed with the customer service and pricing compared to the their competitors closer to London.
When my car arrives at the OPC they're going to meet me there to discuss exactly what gets covered with PPF and what gets Ceramic coating...broadly I am going for front end with sills, rear wheel arches etc. They take the car away on a covered trailer and it comes back a week later for handover. When it comes back they send one of their detailers with it so it's "100% to their standard" when I pick it up.

Mirrors and the A pillar?... , Cheib.
Don't forget the leading edge of the roof! One fitter advised getting the rear spoiler done....
Re the sills / rear arches - I take it they continue from the lower sill right up to the arches in one single piece of PPF?..So, not 2 pieces of PPF, one for sill and a separate one for the rear arches..?..
Sorry, pita is throt.

Absolute rubbish. Your comments (above and the ones about PPF I didn't quote) are clearly based on years old rumours and not from personal experience or you would know better than to spout such cack.
I have full coverage on my 458 Speciale, 458 Spider, F12, GT3RS 997.2, Boxster S 981 and Lotus Exige 350 Sport you can't tell any of them have it on without feeling the edges of the panels with your finger and in most cases it's fitted (wrapped) round the edges.
Sonoco and XPEL2 films are superb. I've been all over Europe in the Boxster S once, once in the F12, round Europe 4 times in the 458 Spider (19000 miles from new) and round Europe and multiple track days in the Exige 350. I use the Boxster as my winter DD and have done for 6 winters now. All of the cars are like new.
Waxes etc can't come close (I know as I wax my vintage, classic and a couple of moderns I have that I got before I found out about PPF) and don't offer anything like the protection PPF does. I have zero stone chips, zero swirl marks on the cars I mention above. I wouldn't buy a new car without having it done.
I use Paintshield. They've never let me down OP. Contrary to what 911R here says everyone I know that gets PPF gets it not to preserve the car 'for the next owner' but to give them the peace of mind to use their car, drive it hard, as they want, without having to worry about damage.
If you want evidence of what happens to a well waxed RS6 doing the North Coast 500 compared to my 458 Spider when we went last August I'll post a pair of pictures tomorrow as I'm storing my mate's RS6 at the moment before it goes for a full front end respray. The Spider? Sat on a lift in my garage looking like it just left the showroom.
Oh, and what have I been doing all day today? Machine polishing swirls out of my Lotus Esprit V8. I've never had a single swirl on any of the cars that have full PPF. There's 12 hours I'll never get back and the bloody thing still needs waxing.
OP, dunno where you are but if you're anywhere near North Yorkshire drop me a PM, you're welcome to come and see for yourself.
Hey, I wanted to know whether you recommend going for shops that use precut or hand cut ppf. I want to get mine done but just not sure what to ask to make sure I get my money’s worth. Also, did you ceramic coat on top of your ppf?I have full coverage on my 458 Speciale, 458 Spider, F12, GT3RS 997.2, Boxster S 981 and Lotus Exige 350 Sport you can't tell any of them have it on without feeling the edges of the panels with your finger and in most cases it's fitted (wrapped) round the edges.

I've not used them but I've had the following detailers recommended to me:- Tintex, Portsmouth
- Envy Detailing, Gosport
- Paintguard, Waterlooville
Not 100% sure if they all ceramic coat but if not, a friend is/used to be the joint owner of this place and they have an impressive portfolio of past customers:

I was emailing him about getting my R8 done and Martin was very responsive and helpful.
