I brought soime headlamp doctor, and some sealant for after the job's done.

I'm going to use elbow grease, - my question is, - shall I also use a Magic sponge? Or is that too abrasive?

Whats the car, age & how cloudy? Pictures? You'll probably find a magic sponge is nowhere near abrasive enough.

I used 'Barkeepers Friend' scouring powder, bought at the Range. Add to a damp cloth and it forms an abrasive paste which was enough to remove the oxidation / hazing on Mrs Langtounlad's MX5. Finished off with PoorBoys wax to give UV protection on newly clean headlamp.
