Give cmoose a break, guys.

Not tactful but the post clearly states he does not condone such acts.

Really chap...... there is no place for this on PH.

I am really disappointed how sensible discussions are spearing off at a tangent into nonsensical arguments.

Can we bring it up a few levels please?

Well speaking with Porsche Silverstone today, trade in on the GT3.2 is around list price now, they have dropped very quickly and expected to drop more over winter.
Can only be good news for people that want to own and drive them

I don’t think, with all due respect, that the Touring is immune either.

Trade might be list but that's not what you or me are going to get offered one for.

I don't normally like veering off cars on here, but why is it that so many of the population seem to set out to be offended these days??!

Winter's looming quickly, followed by a strong possibility of a no deal Brexit soon after..Pair that up with the general consensus that the next global financial meltdown is a question of when and not IF, it can only lead to a negative market sentiment.
The bears are quickly gaining on the bulls and when they overtake them there's going to be utter chaos..Buying a GT Porsche at the current overs is a financial gamble IMO as there's an impeding correction due, or in this case overdue. This will hit all markets and will result in less liquid capital available.
As a gesture of goodwill i'm willing to shoulder some of this financial burden, and offer to take a new 991.2 GT3.RS off someone's hands at list..

Searching for recently sold 991 GT3 and GT3 RS on Pistonheads returns 38 cars.

Not sure how far back the 'Include Sold' option goes, but the last item (a Guards Red GT3 RS at Wilmslow) was for sale on the 12th September on Instagram.

Even discounting some of the SOR and LHD adverts, there does seem to be plenty of sales.

At least on the surface.

Be the cheapest GT car for sale vs list if that were the case, so hard to get ones head round when cars are for sale £30 to £35k overs.

It would kill the 991.1 GT3 over night unless they were £90k and we are still seeing those at £120k and trade bids of some one selling the other day on a .1 was £111k

so I call custard, if Silverstone will only pay list they clearly don't want to buy.

Advertised price over selling are two different things. My OPC has had the same two 991.2 gt3 cars for sale for months, both have been reduced and if not sold reduced further or returned back to there owners.

I know we don’t want to admit it, but Porsche prices are not as strong as we think.

Let’s not forget a few higher mileage 991.1 gt3 cars have already been advertised for sale at 89k.

111k bid on a 991.1 gt3 is going to be very rare, the car must of been low miles and a good spec cs going in against a car with big profit in it.

120k 991.1 gt3 are going to be a hard sell looking at present market.

yes but at £35k overs I bet !

as another poster pointed out who seems a real buyer, he has gone after 5 cars and all have sold ! and as I know what sort of car he is after he must be offering >£15k overs and not getting any joy.

These quoted prices are great unless you really try and buy a car.

we are down to 19 PDK's , 8, manuals and 2 tourings, at OPC's it's low numbers really. Stocks selling and at these prices the buyers buying are not flipping so stock will vanish at some point because any one buying really wants a car.

the issue imo is the 991.1 GT3 it's well over priced the cheapest has 25k miles for a 14 plate car at £110k !!!

we are in the doom and gloom 1/4 in a few days , so buying season. be interesting the 1st OCT prices

if the doom is that low the cars will have to sell below what OPC's paid for them ! so not going to happen unless they have all make a mistake.

the margins in some of the low end cars are quite low and up for over £30k overs so either OPC will loose £15k or the cars will sell at £20k overs ok.

Could be that the dealers would rather "sell" the car than have to drop the price? They might well go to auction, another dealer, or emerge again in a month or so.

This looks like the cheapest 991 GT3 on here excluding LHD or CAT Damaged Cars
and is just under £110k
