I know a little about organising and running trackdays and I was about to reach out to you, to say that if you take on the task of organising the event (for instance, by booking the event in your name and/or by taking payment from participants) then you'd likely need to have PLI cover for about £10m. Not cheap, and probably not viable for a single event.
I have personal experience (as a participant) of both of the other operators you have mentioned; both Javelin and Opentrack are reputable businesses with good track records (no pun intended) in the industry. Each of them is likely to operate an Open Pit Lane (OPL) format at Anglesey. I would say that Javelin tends to position itself towards the 'no-frills' end of the spectrum and generally offers great value for money; expect a great mix of car types and also a thinning-out of numbers as the day progresses (for a variety of reasons...). OpenTrack is maybe pitched a little more towards the serious end of the market and that might be reflected in the cars that you would find on track at one of their events. One of their USP's is that they include free photography in their prices.
In short, I can certainly recommend both of these operators for a GT3 group event on track.
(Just a thought, though; why not see if you can go along (as a group) to a PCGB event ? I think that you can take part whether or not you are a PCGB member; they just charge a different rate for non-members. It's rather good being on a Porsches-only event).

Thankyou very much for this advice..It tallies with my suspicions that its way too expensive for a private party..Anglesea track for a day is £7200 plus the need for compulsory PLI..I have personal experience (as a participant) of both of the other operators you have mentioned; both Javelin and Opentrack are reputable businesses with good track records (no pun intended) in the industry. Looks as we'll have to stick to PCCB days as Anglesea is pretty much booked up this year anyway..Still up for a North Wales road trip before winter and a meeting at Rhug for a bite to eat..
Had to pick up a new wheel for the wife's mountain bike and decided not to do the sensible thing and take the VW T6. The bike shop's less than 5 mins drive from home and I made the trip into an hour long loop, picking the wheel up on the way back to base, obv's.
Was a good excuse to try out the heel-n-toeability my new, favourite driving shoes; Michelin-soled, though not N-rated. (With the later affect my car's value?)
Taffy66 - Rhug is a lovely drive from my place, so if I'm free on the day you organise the meet, I'd love to come along.

Yesterday in Austria. Last drive on the way to winter storage having just passed 10.000 km. (mornings turning frosty here in Austria).
I'm planning a trip to Austria setting off this Wednesday in the GT3 we are picking up tomorrow. Any chance of some advice and suggestion for hidden gems of roads we should visit? And advice regarding roads being closed at this time of year etc. Any input would be greatly appreciated. The plan is to stay to the west to incorporate a bit of Italy and Switzerland but I'm open to local knowledge.Thank you.
As a private Anglesea track is so prohibitively expensive and getting fully booked prior to Christmas, i'm still hoping on an informal gathering at Rhug restaurant near Corwen in North Wales..Ideally in the next few weeks before the much anticipated hard winter sets in..
As its such a busy place it would make sense to get a rough idea of numbers as i could request extra parking in the likely event the main car park will be full.As i do regular business with Rhug i should be able to get this organised, failing that i'll just have to do business elsewhere,;)
I'm pretty flexible on dates, however i suspect a saturday would suit most due to various work commitments.May i provisionally say Saturday on November 10th at say 11AM..We could grab a bit to eat and have a chin wag about cars and take it from there.
I've had a few PMs so either let me know by PM or even better on this thread so everybody knows who's going to avoid any unexpected encounters between old foes..
The one caveat is once one can put a face to a Pistonheader it becomes much more difficult to insult someone on forums, if this doesn't bother you then please come along.
As i already mentioned, i'm really flexible on dates so if others really want to come but on another date we could move times no problem..
