not for me sorry to say :-(
being stuck in Wales at 11am on a Saturday don't seem fun.
I am up for hoons and meets but really they need to be 6/7am Sunday mornings and then a meet for Brunch after a good drive.
But I'll be at Caffeine&Machine this Sat ... and I hope to work one evening and get my bypass on if any one wants to hear it.
Prob be at Silverstone Sunday also.
I am up for proper trips and meets, euro hoons or early morning drives going forward.
'If' a lowly Cayman R is allowed to attend then I will happily come along.....being stuck in Wales at 11am on a Saturday don't seem fun.

David - set off from home at 6am and enjoy the run over & Welsh roads before people and police overcrowd them, meeting at 11am for a well deserved bite to eat. Agree with your sentiment though in the fact that area on a Saturday lunchtime offers limited driving opportunities.
Had a run over to Barmouth & back recently in the M3 (family duties) and it wasn't so much the traffic (easily overtaken) but the plethora of new average speed cameras destroying many of the roads that used to be a hoon. Still, the run back on the A4212 from Trawsfynydd to Bala was a joy as it always is. And not far from the Rhug...

I was down there the other week. Unfortunately it was on the way back from a weekend mountain biking at Coed Y Brenin, so I was in a VW T6 with bikes, dogs and luggage on board, but it was still a joy - 60mph virtually all the way and barely a car around. At Bala - and I must have missed being overtaken by them by less than half an hour - were the press McLaren Senna plus and 720 (or 650 - couldn't see) being loaded into a transporter having been driven back from Anglesey.
From Bala, at the cross roads, the B4391 is also a wonderful road, again, not usually too busy. They've even re-surfaced the bit into Llangynog too.

Everybody's welcome and in any interesting car as its not a car showing contest..It'll be an early morning drive for some as it is and have to agree North Wales is not as fun driving as it used to be due to over zealous law enforcement..They should have cracked down on over exuberant Corsa driving boy racers a long time ago IMO.It has spoilt it for the rest of us but unfortunately it is what it is and outside of our control. Even trackdays can be more hassle than fun these days due to the same culprits.David - set off from home at 6am and enjoy the run over & Welsh roads before people and police overcrowd them, meeting at 11am for a well deserved bite to eat. Maybe a drive up to SS on Sunday for the PH event maybe Macca can come in the F40 ....Yellow as well ... sun will be out .. as 10 th looks tight for me as well .Have fun chaps.
Hear it's the Lucas ones you really need to avoid.
Last time I drove through the Evo Triangle was almost a year ago. We'd rented a cottage on Anglesey and I was supposed to be in my new (to me) GT3. Mrs Digga had gone out there a few days earlier with the dog and I'd joined them Friday evening. Events conspired against collecting the car, so I was in my VW van (only consolation was being able to do some mountain biking) and Mrs Digga did not struggle to keep up in her Evoque on our detour off the A5 on the way home.

NW a slog when we've epic roads in south to mid Wales. Will look to meet up when further South, have a good time.
Is it a slog? It's almost 350 miles for me but I'm sure the GT3 will devour that no problem... The worst part really is trundling along on the M5 We normally leave at 6:30, breakfast in Llandovery and back by 10:30.
