Going for a dark interior. The configurator doesnt exactly show them to be very dark so hoped it would be pretty dark but I understand its not a real representation on the config

Personally I don’t like Privacy Glass on a 911....breaks up what is still a classic shape of the 911 glasshouse too much for me.

From my understanding its definitely worth upgrading to the sports seats plus but the 18 ways are not necessary

Depends how you find the seats, no two people are the same and the 18 ways come with adjustable lumbar support and the front pad is adjustable, neither are on the 4 ways. Apparently the new 992 seats are a little different to the 991 ones as well, so as always it is a bit of a gamble ordering without having first hand experience.

I find 911’s confusing with so many options I never know where I am with them.

Chrono? I like the sport plus option but hate the dial on the dash! RWS? interesting as the GT cars have it but a bit pricey.

I had sport seat plus 4 way on my last car, always regretted it (the 4 way, not the plus), there’s certain things you shouldn’t scrimp on, and the adjustability of the seat is a big one, do went for 16 way sport sets plus on the GTS and would every single time.

Plus you get memory function. I also don’t find them too high like dome people say, they easily go low enough for me.

I have Rws on my CGTS. Having driven the 991 with and without I would definitely spec it again. Unless you’re not that bothered about driving dynamics. PDCC I would not recommend.

I think the launch event for OPC’s in Mallorca has finished now....they’ve been doing comparisons against the 570s amongst other things.

The 570 will be quicker in a straight line but the 911 will be the better all rounder.

OPC staff get to drive many competitor cars. Know your enemy..

Spoke to Silverstone yesterday and it’s being run end March at the PEC due to works going on at the dealership.

Yup launch has been put back towards end of March from originally end Feb, wonder if that’s delayed delivery dates too?

Has anyone seen any live pics with the standard steering wheel? All the ones at the press launch seem be with the GT sports steering wheel
