The red club sport at hexagon has be for sale for the best part of a year or more. They apparently own it and it isn’t SOR
Wouldn’t be surprised...I used to buy my BMW’s from Hexagon when they werea BMW dealer and had the classic car business on the side it certainly used to be their policy never to do SoR. Very old school.Cunno said:

Don't know why, low mileage, rare colour, bit like the viper green Gen 1 sold quickly. In fact willing to bet a pint that it sells quicker than you take to buy one?
the viper green one that sold at opc wilmslow was up for 91.5 with a mega spec when other cs were around 85 (eg the guards red sor at jzm which also sold within 2 weeks)the best things come to those who wait dont you know!

All similar priced, time will tell I never thought the viper car would sell but it did

Given the prices in those links, I don't think the Riviera blue car is massively out given its mileage and rare colour (which I quite like). Someone will pay the extra just for the colour imo.
The cars in the links won’t sell either though !To sell they need to be £95k. 997,s are stuck atm with these prices.
With ref to PTS Riviera as a colour. I always long held the belief that it's the most sought after shade, especially on the 911. Have to agree with this, it's knockout in the flesh.
The car currently listed and advertised ain't been photo shopped. Riviera blue is unusual. Even though you could you say it's a flat pastel, when photographing, it seems to behave more reminiscent to a tri pearl. With each picture very depended on lighting etc. Its very much alive, often looking a slightly different blue each and every time. For me that's half the appeal with Riviera.
Comments on price/value and the GT3 997 incarnation - no matter what GT model, or indeed premium asked, if a car is unique re miles, condition or spec - it will find a home quickly. And believe me, this car certainly is special.

I would not buy even at £85k. May be fantastic on track but daft to pay this sort of money in a falling market and thats where most people are nowadays. All the rats are trying to escape out of their newly found asset class (thats JZM speak nowadays for cars like GT3s and RS ). It will be interesting to watch over what happens over the next few months especially if we crash out with no deal which looks increasingly likely.
If I was after a 997.2 GT3 I’d be all over that Riviera car it’s stunning...it’s a great colour and I much prefer it to Voodoo blue which is equally popular (JZM have got a Voodoo 981 Spyder at the moment which just doesn’t work for some reason). Is saw the quite welll known Mint Green 997.2 GT3 at the Bicester Sunday Scramble recently.....just looked sodding fantastic.

Amazing how long that mint green GT3 sat in the classifieds unsold....£105k virtually sat on the forecourt for 12 months. I agree nicest one out there. All the rats are trying to escape out of their newly found asset class (thats JZM speak nowadays for cars like GT3s and RS weeping).
That made me chuckle. If that’s Jzm speak it goes to show how the market is heading.
911r hit the nail on the head regarding all the other 997.2 gt3 cars sat unsold this can also be seen with other brands.
The asking of £127k is speculative price nothing more and this is yet another investor owner trying to cash in as it was bought as an investment.
As more and more cars come to the market new and old this will end up having a big impact on cars like this IMO

I also dislike mint green, I thought mint green was a GTS though with buckets etc not a GT3. ttdan said:
