997.1 GT3 - 911 Virgin
Discussion
Indeed, there it is - at RPM.
If anyone wants to know more about that car I'd be happy to help. I owned it from July '14 to August (I think) '17 and covered around 5k miles in that time. The only reason I sold it was to move on to a 991.1 GT3. Obviously, I haven't seen it for a couple of years but when I sold it there was nothing at all to be concerned about; I really enjoyed both owning and driving it!

I've pretty much done that in the 4 months I've owned mine!If anyone wants to know more about that car I'd be happy to help. Looks like rpm had a buyer lined up for a specific car so bought Ashgoods, added £5k to the price and said Thank you very much!
Err, not exactly - I know it's got a bit confused but these are two different cars. The Ashgood car is not the same one as 'my old car' that was up for sale at RPM. So if both of these silver cars have sold recently, and the red one that was at TH Boler has as well, it seems that spring-time market conditions are kicking in.James

As you say, cars seem to be moving more now. The car at Simon's of Shropshire sold a few weeks ago. Maybe petrolheads are receiving their annual dividends or bonuses and splashing out.

Well, BertBert, it just goes to show that you're much more of a proper GT-car owner than me!
If I recall - you were (are?) also into Sevens?
James
Super memory James. I had a series of 7s until I got my 6RS. I'm finding it hard not to buy another one. Saw an academy car on the M1 this evening, had to look away. I think a garage with a GT3, a seven and a defender 110 is all a man could ever need.If I recall - you were (are?) also into Sevens?

I'm guessing that you've got two out of the three, then? Seems a shame not to complete the set. Buy a Seven wisely and it's just as good as keeping money in the bank (except you get to drive the investent!). Bert
Seriously, I find it astonishing to see how often the Seven + Porsche (and even Seven + GT3) ownership-combo pops up. They go together so well...

This made me laugh as I own that collection, albeit a Defender 90. Bert
My caterham hasn’t turned a wheel in 7 years but is away being brought back to life and made road legal again. I’m so excited about getting it back.

poverty 911 in comparison to the GT/RS mentioned here........ but agree on the combo.... 997.2 C2 recently acquired, hopefully joined by a seven very soon. no defender.... but have an old X5 for winter & tow duties... its perfect !!
That's a nice combo - I had a go in a 620R recently - really want one. I think that would complete the garage!X3 M40i is our new workhorse but it's a very nice place to be!

Familiar story with caterhams. My caterham hasn’t turned a wheel in 7 years but is away being brought back to life and made road legal again. I’m so excited about getting it back.
They look such great fun but just a PITA most of the time.
Great if you are heavily into track days mind
