Black bucket seats in a grey interior car?
Discussion
As per the above title, I have a full light grey interior in my silver 997.1 c2s. Have been unable to track down suitable folding grey bucket seats so contemplating putting black ones in.
Would this look totally silly?
I thought if I went for it, I could always get some black rear seats too.
Cheaper than re upholstering black buckets in grey and devaluing them when time comes to sell.
I will keep the original seats for resale time down the line.

I think it will look odd. I had a similar dilemma with my grey interior Boxster, that had black floor mats in it and they really looked wrong.
I also really wanted sport seats as that was the only spec my car didn't have (that and PCCB) but they only ever came up for sale in black. It is not hugely expensive to have them recovered & you do get betterment ie they will be like new. I guess you can buy them, put them in the car, if it doesn't bother you keep them in there & swap back when you sell you probably won't lose a penny.
Even if you do get them recovered which will probably cost somewhere in the £1.5k area, you can still swap them out & sell them when you flog the car, sports seats seem to go for about £2k from the ones that have working airbags so it's not a dead loss
Also you could buy some in a bad state if you're recovering them anyway save some cashola there

Are the seat and back cushions not Velcro in and easy to remove? Would Porsche parts not offer these cushions (in various colours) at a much lesser cost than full seats?
I think would look fine.
Cheers.
Happy to be wrong but I think you'd have more chance of seeing God than doing this, they are also not velcro'd in but held in place with wire rings and are time consuming and fidly to removeI think would look fine.
Cheers.
Plus even if you could get covers from Porsche I bet you the cost would be out of this world
