They will be incorporated into a newly redesigned Catalytic converter so extremely difficult to remove..The trouble with the GPF is it relies on the exhaust gas temperature inside the unit exceeding 600 deg C to burn off the soot particles. In slow steady driving conditions the car's ECU will adjust the lean burn to cope with the soot particulates.
Removing the GPF will play hell with the ECU and throw CELs up like a Xmas tree..It will also cause the car to go into Limp mode..

We have hit the sweet spot of the petrol engine, all down hill from here, and zero modding allowed going forward with new MOT rules on new cars. :-(

Looks great Rob - bet you and Amanda are delighted.
As it’s from my local OPC did they have your 991.2 GT3 from you? I wonder how much it will be for sale for as it’s the only car I know with any serious miles on it....
Yes, Chris - it will be interesting to see. However, I'm pleased to say Rob's man-maths was carefully worked out on this one so even I am happy with the deal! They can ask what they want for it but what they get, as ever, will be a different matter wink Its a seriously well-loved car though & still below the 10k miles so should make a great buy for some lucky person (particularly if they want their car to look just like Mr JWW's!)
What a funny world we live in when that is considered serious miles cry

Yes, arguably that sweet spot spans 2000 - 2018, but you're correct about the future.

I think, given the above, the 991.2 RS could justifiably be regarded as some sort of pinnacle.

Congrats guys anyway! My dog loves Lizard green - says it matches his collar nicely. I have explained that we can't afford one...

2000 to 2018 there were a lot of issues with Porsche cars, the sweet spots seem few and far between within the brand imo

It's reasonable to say the Mezger powered cars were, and continue to be, pretty well regarded though. As with the GT4, Cayman R, Boxster Spyder, 991 R...

that's a very small % of models imo. a few Mezger cars and the new GT models !

imo the sweet spot is 2009 to 2012 and >2017 or as you say a Mezger cars, although there is a bit too much hype on those engine for me lol

so from the last 18 years of Porsche that's very few cars in the sweet spot.
