I would wait 6-7 months , hence save some more money for the 992 turbo s or turbo it won't disappoint.
I enquired about the new 992TTS with the DP of my OPC..He's seen it recently in California and reckons it will have between 650 and 670PS..

Hi
What do you mean by the way the .2 puts its power down? Are you talking about traction or less understeer....or something else?
Cheers
They both understeer a bit on stock settings when pressing on, but in the .2 they made some upgrades in the way the TQ and power is distributed over the four wheels. The .2 feels more like more BHP 2WD GTS at times.

670?? That'll be another 110 PS over my 991.1!

If that's true then the 992 TTS will be absolutely mental fast.

Anyone have any views on the cabriolet versions? I have never had a cab and honestly have never really considered one. They do look rather nice and if I’m going to make a change a big change might be nice. No idea what the roofs are like on them, cabin noise, handling etc.

Also is it one of those things that seems like a good idea but you never end up using them? (Bit like my bloody hot tub!)

You will probably want to mod and gen 1 easier to mod(gen 2 needs bench remap) but then you have to look for a good garage to do the work which is not as easy as it seems. If keeping stock buy gen 2 and biggest difference is improvement in handling.

Had both versions as cabs, if you can afford it, the Gen 2 is just that little bit better in most areas, bit quicker, handles a bit better.
Roof up just like a coupe, no scuttle shake.
