It is an "investor's car" that will be great to drive and therein lies the dilemma. Who will actually use one?

Lovely car but priced wrong, as others have said far better cars out there and that’s before you even add the possible overs. Give me a gt2rs any day of the week.
I disagree about it being priced wrongly ....I think it’s everything else the GT department produces that isn’t priced properly.

It has ITBs who gives a toss about the wing mirrors. This will sound otherwordly good!
The ITBs are a nice special touch..I wonder if they'll be on the second batch RSs.? Do they help in counteracting the power sapping effect of the GPFs.? Perhaps some more knowledgeable people than myself could answer these questions.

Good point C agree most other halo and GT Porsches are underpriced new.

I can only imagine how amazing this Speedster will sound top down at full chat..I'm wondering what colour would suit it best.On my Carrera white 981 Spyder i can't imagine it any other colour, but perhaps not in a Speedster..
How about a Black one with two tone Black/Bordeaux leather interior..? Now we're talking.! All of a sudden i can see myself driving down to the South of France in one.driving

looks crap imo, so would hope so
Thats a tad strong... Granted it lacking... I do have to say though the interior is looking dated now the 992 is out.

I wouldn't pay 250K for one for sure, will be interesting to see what the overs market lists them for? 500k ?
misunderstanding - I meant just the red marker on the steering wheel, not the entire car

that only applies to the UK though imo (and also in the UK was not the case in the past as far as I can remember), not really underpriced in Germany compared to Ferraris as an example

I really like the look of the heritage edition. I guess it’s a modern interpretation of this which was available on 356 Speedsters....I was lucky enough to have a ride in that car last year.

I think it’s all irrelevant ; just another 911 that you can’t buy - it’s enfuriating !

It does nothing for me, at all. It’s a clumpy looking cab, proportions all over the place with tarts handbag detailing and livery. Can you imagine driving about with a number on your door, on a modern.

It will fit very nicely at the golf club in Wilmslow, driven by the portly local wine bar owners latest piece of serial divorcee, orange mutton.

The R, for me, is the only iteration I covet.

Crazy isn't it. 8 or 9 years ago nobody would of wanted to buy it either. Remember the huge discounts OPCs offered to sell the 987 Spyder? Wasn't a huge market for a car with a tent as a roof. Now *everyone* wants one because they can make a few quid biggrin

I think that just makes a 987 or 981 Spyder look like very good value in comparison.

Can't really disagree there, I've had a 987 and now a 981 Spyder, both great cars.

Still no news on EU cars?

Are Porsche still not in the position of having an NA car certified using a GPF?

I think this car signals the end of 'silly overs'. I was trying to get one and would have offered up my Touring to get one. Not so sure now.
Let’s hope it does signal the end. With the 911 R at £300 to £340k in the UK it will be interesting to see where these end up. I doubt many people would want one instead of an R and there were only 991 R’s.

Sad so few go to owners prepared to use them as Porsche intended. Is it really £250k list as I've seen mentioned on other threads? Thats a bit too much especially if thats before options. Better off with a 991.2 GT3 surely? And you can probably buy a very low mile early 991.1 turbo s cab with the change if you want open top motoring or am I being too sensible?
