Congratulations on your purchase they are great cars.
Btw 5% is actually a relatively low number of GT cars in the OPC network compared to past GT cars and considering it is two years since the first cars were first delivered.
5% Seems about right, just over a week ago, there were 38 GT3s in the OPC Network, 19 MT and same for PDK, out of the 19 MT cars one was a Touring and 17 had CCBDs option.

Its a v.tough choice to choose between a 720s and .2 GT3 manual or PDK at the same money. At 111k + options the GT3 a no brainer but when both are £150k ooft hard choice. Would need to drive both but I suspect i'd still go for GT3 being the saddo i am but I'd leave the Porsche showroom wondering if I'd made a mistake! The 720s is so much car for the money it defies logic as a used buy. They're so cheap you do wonder whats wrong with them and the Mcl dealers.
Sounds to me like you'll probably end up with a GT3, and the great thing about that is that, unlike the Mclaren, it can't be the wrong decision.

Coming from a 997 turbo, the car just feels so much more alive and almost raucous, but also docile if you want it to be. Also the power doesn't feel far off what the turbo could do with the benefit of two turbos!

Hi John. Well done on the allocation.

It looks like most of the gen 2 GT3 RS' are in the hands of used car dealers at the moment. Only 3 on the OPC locator.
Does that £180k include the Wiessach pack? Ive been so busy with all this brexit nonsense that I'm out of touch with the market.

Just bought a GTS 991.2 in Graphite blue as a useable daily while I wait for the price of Tourings to fall smile
Waiting for a gt3 touring for sensible money is a wise move imo, in terms of 991.2 gt3 cars it’s also a very low production spec. Also more usable as a daily similar to your gts. Wise move if they drop low enough.

Beautiful car.

I think it’s fair to say that the next 12 months for any type of lavish expenditure on a sports car is going to be a buyers market.

if you already own a car, who cares, if my cars dropped £10k the cars I look at have dropped £30k

the markets only good if you own nothing, but most people own a car and all other brands are dropping faster than Porkers.

cars I were looking at when my car was worth £145k were £200k, my cars now retails at £139k and the cars I were looking at are £169k !!

price to change is cheaper than ever !! that's man maths but true.

but yes if you were waiting to buy a GT3 at list and ran nothing all summer 2019 and still alive, you were wise to wait.

No PCCBS at £6.5k remember, NO leather, NO carbon !!!

So not cheap, if anything expensive ! Way over list more than some other cars.

£5k over list seems the price today, that cars way more than that !

The red manual better spec one just went & was advertised at £139,950, I'd say £129,950 or the white one with a selling price of 125k would be about right.

Also, white seems to be falling out of flavor fast!

It is a minefield. I like the Crayon one at East London but they won’t shift, it’s on SOR I believe.

I read something similar about the hemlines of skirts and dresses tracking boom/bust.

(I can't wear short skirts as my balls hang too low.)

yep looks expensive due to the 7.5k miles.

make them ring the owner while you are there, resellers can be stupid some times and not act on behalf of the owner !

A Touring will be a keeper for me. I want steel brakes, leather and folding buckets. Not exactly a prize flippers spec so I'm going to have to be patient as most were spec'd with PCCB's.

Also lots are spec'd with comfort seats which is a big surprise! The seats in my GTS are good, very good in fact but for a GT3 I'd want buckets.

We just need to leave the EU without a deal and for the country to go to st. I then stand a chance of getting into a £130 - £140k Touring!.
Bring on the chaos!!!

Sorry, I do apologise. Difficult getting out of carbon bucket seats too.

Which car were you driving then?
