Wonder how much Bhp it will have, i note that in some Spy Shots its on 275 fronts and 335 rears, thats some rubber...
4L with 530PS I've been told with emphasis on huge aero and grip. Very hard springs to cope

Sound about right, with a higher red line I hope

Everyone was downplaying the GT4RS BHP at the time. I am confident the Gt3RS will be 550. 530 is not enough to shout about as a business case.

I am inclined to agree with you J, the last WP RS was what 520 Plus with its ramm effect, if this new car is going to run 275s and 335s then I would expect to see around 560 Plus. IMO

Porsche normally give the RS only 20-25PS over the GT3 however the GT4 RS got a massive 80PS over the GT4, so who knows what Porsche will do ? To go above 530 I suspect they'll need to increase the capacity to 4.2L in the interest of long term engine longevity. OTOH they might just keep the 4L 530PS giving headroom for the final RS anniversary with 4.2L and 560PS.
Its fun guessing but only Porsche know for sure.

If they are going to run 275 and 335 tyres then it's going to need substantial upgrade of engine. Maybe they will give it a brand new engine and share it with a .2 992 GT3 but derated as the tyres will not be any good for the road.

The 992 GT3 barely had an increase in BHP over 991.2 (I think the smallest BHP increase ever from generation to generation of GT3)….it hasn’t impacted the desirability of that model one bit. All about suspension and Nurburgring lap time…..the latter is what the marketing dept wants. I am sure the RS will be other worldly around the ‘ring given the rumours and nobody will really care about the engine output IMHO.

On those tyres with the size of the spoiler on it, that’ll probably go round corners be they fast or slow quite well ...

The active rear wing will hugely reduce drag on straights whilst increasing down force on high speed corners. As long as the latest track spec compound and width or tyres as well as increased spring rates to cope, then a extra paltry 10PS will be enough for a substantially faster Nurburgring time.

All the flippers pissing themselves with excitement at the prospect of getting their greedy mitts on one of these, could use the huge downforce as an excuse on why It'll be stuck to the OPC showroom floor.

I’m not sure if they made the wing big enough! Could also do with being a couple of feet higher 🙄

I know people with thick skin but not sure any of them would be brave enough to drive that on a public road.

This is a car you only drive on public roads on your way to a trackday. I tend to drive to trackdays the evening before because my nearest (Oulton) is over 120 miles away. If I got a 992GT3 RS I would leave home the night before only after dark.
The usual suspects on here who are their OPCs VIP flippers will no doubt publish pictures on here in front of their home before driving straight back within a week to park(flip) at their OPC.
Seriously If offered one I'd gladly accept and use it exclusively for trackdays. Anyone who gets one but never goes near a track will look a right plonker poncing about on public roads.

Spot on IMO. It's the chassis that sets the 2.1 apart from the 1.2. A major step forward - albeit I'd prefer the new chassis (and improved manual gearbox and steering feel) in the shape of the 1.2...
