That's what my OPC told me today. I have one coming but unsure if I'll take it due to the prolonged delay plus the large price hike.
I’ll have it if you don’t want it Ice grey metallic is far more silver in the flesh than I’d have imagined, I really like it. It’s on Goodyear Supersport R tyres, initial impressions are that they’ve got way more grip than the Dunlop Sport Maxx which I had on the 991RS (which were hopeless in the wet)
There is so much more aero detailing on it when you analyse it up close, especially the cutouts in the bumpers and doors.

I spent a good half hour mooching around one yesterday, the aero detailing is crazy, when released i couldn't justify the price over a RRP 991 3RS, but the sheer volume, of what one can only say 'bespoke' body, i now can see why its so much more £££
I did think the rear bumper where it meets the aero vertical 'gap' is, as your photo, going to get pummelled and Obliterated from stones
the car in question had PPF then an additional PPF Fin over the top like you get on the rear arches

How is the ride on road? I’ve found RSs historically firm but also surprisingly well damped. Is this the same? There is so much more aero detailing on it when you analyse it up close, especially the cutouts in the bumpers and doors.

It feels no stiffer than the 992GT3, but that was on Michelin cup tyres. The tyres are a huge factor to the ride quality, and so far these Goodyears feels great. You can really brake very hard in the wet and there’s loads of feel before you feel the ABS intervene.

My limited aerodynamic knowledge would suggest that stones thrown up by the tyres will get thrown backwards underneath the car, and not upwards at the bodywork…I will find out soon enough…I did think the rear bumper where it meets the aero vertical 'gap' is, as your photo, going to get pummelled and Obliterated from stones

Looks fantastic. The alloys look magnificent in that colour. There is so much more aero detailing on it when you analyse it up close, especially the cutouts in the bumpers and doors.
Did you not fancy a Dakar ? I would have assumed that was more your kind of thing.

The alloy wheel colour is great, but it’s the design that’s most intricate. There are hollows and recesses everywhere to make them as light as possible….but I doubt they’d survive a heavy kerb strike…!Did you not fancy a Dakar ? I would have assumed that was more your kind of thing.
I liked the idea of the 911 Dakar, but looked at the detail and it’s 100kg heavier than a 992GTS coupe, with the same power, and more body movement, so dynamically it didn’t appeal…

No you won't ... you'll have handed back the GT4RS by then ;-)
Seriously don't think I could drive the new 3RS on public roads. The 4RS is the sweet spot IMO being a lot less money and significantly lighter and smaller in all directions. Never ever gelled with a car so quickly and I rate it as highly as my Ferrari 812SF for pure excitement and fun.Another point on the 3RS is that I've figured out that the only place myself and son could store our helmets on our way to track days is on our heads. The 4RS is positively commodious in comparison
