I guess ‘factory’ wrong choice of word - guessing they mean genuine porsche 997 shifter rather than an aftermarket version.

Quite possibly, but in 5 years time there’ll probably be a steady stream of “commentators” on here posting :

“I really wish I’d bought a nice aerokitted 996 C2 manual couple when they £20k” ... smile

I’m in danger of trying to justify it (expensive Öhlins, IMS/RMS sorted, great colour)...

Don’t know the car, though for that price it could have been cleaned properly as it looks either dirty or poorly photographed - nothing sets me off more than someone wanting top £s & they seemingly haven’t even had it washed properly rolleyes A properly sorted 911 IMO would be something like this...

Not sure if that was at the Silverstone classic last year but the maintenance list is a massive plus. Sure it will still bring bills but you have a solid car that is in a an unusual but great looking colour.

Price wise - people are used to these things being criminally under priced. I wouldn't pay £22K for a 996.1 but for something in exceptional condition it wouldn't be far off. Those seats alone are worth £2k.

Interesting one this.

Its sensible miles, interesting colour, decent upgrades. Last year I'd have said it was at the right price level.

However, it's probably 2-3 too high to sell in current climate. Obviously IMV.

If I didn't have one already I'd be on the phone, looking to get it at 19k or so.

I’m assuming it’s a PTS factory colour, not a later repaint?
From the pics, looks like an Aston Martin colour. Porsche Malachite Green is very similar and a very nice shade.
I actually think it would look better without the body kit.

My 996 is very low and probably lower than that one. Mine has no problem clearing speed bumps and I can go near curbs too but with the aero kit you'd need to be super careful. I will admit the aero kit looks good but for an easier life I'd go none aero.

Porsche list 2 dark green colours for 996.1 tannengrün-met. Not sure what that translates as. And dschungelgrün-met which translates as Jungle Green, I think was referred to as rain forest green.

Either way both colours look very much like this car but are metallic. Could just be a bad photo or the car is a bit dirty which is why it isn't showing the metallic.

I think it might be the lighting / camera as it looks like rainforest green in one shot and the interior looks lighter than the normal grey leather.

Exactly!
It’s very similar spec and mileage to my old one.
I put it up for £20k and my phone almost melted.

You had a bit of a pup Packs which soured your 996 experience. I’ve since seen you pop up on threads calling them boring and overpriced.
It’s fine to have that opinion if you just don’t get them, but then why read threads about them. wink

I’ve just done an online MOT check...the MOT expired last August with advisories on the last test for front disks, track rods and rear lower suspension arm bushes highlighted.

As Marky911 said, the car first highlighted in the thread is a bit strong on figures, though pricing seems all over the place at the moment & aerokit equipped cars are considerably rarer.
