Why do people ask about number if not interested In Flipping ?
Any one who keeps asking this must have a reason !

Interested to know where do you get
240 from or is that a rough estimate of
3 per dealer ?
Dvla has only registered 129 cars
In 2018-19
There must be loads of unregistered cars
if your are correct

Some flip, some will keep a certain amount of time and hope relative rarity of the car will keep its value high enough to have equity for a next GT3, some will like the idea the car is rare regardless of its value. Sometimes it is nice to think you own something a bit rare... and keep it forever!

I think the actual query was how many WP cars were ordered out of the 2nd total allocation, whatever that number is.
I would presume quite a lot, maybe even every one ??
The first one must be due to pop up for sale somewhere pretty soon surely ??

I'm making an educated guess that the vast majority will be WP cars..Having said that i know of someone in London who's forgoing WP so i imagine that there will be a few others as well..

I suppose there will still be the low specced cars for track regulars who will also not see any value in the few kilos shed by WP. Has anyone whose car has arrived for confirmation they have certificate and can be registered/ delivered? Need to hear the sound!

Heard mine yesterday, sounds exactly the same on startup to my 2018 Lizard.. it was in transportation mode, so could not rev above 2k..

This was my understanding also. As in 128 cars for last years none WP run. This time round around 100 cars, including a few PTS. Would be interesting to see how many have gone for the Full WP Option including the Mag wheels.

Don’t know about anyone else but this already makes me very happy! I thought, from videos of Speedster, that even at idle it sounded a bit muter than 991.2 GT3 RS or GGT3

My OPC say that 50% of the RS they sold in Gen 1 never did more than a few hundred miles , they are also collectables for some which is fine .

Yes spec low to use hard as once used they lose the value anyway .....

Will use mine, keep her well maintained and up and running and will let my son sell it in 50 years as, maybe, one of the few cars still running!

It’s so frustrating wanting one, having the money but physically can’t get your hands on one, it would be used as intended serviced by the dealers etc so money back to the agents but still can’t get one, one way is to pay the high prices for a flipped car.

I have my gen 1 Gt3 and the dealers want it for a song and want top overs for the cars they have. Is an rs really worth £100k more than the car I have, ie in betterment?

If you have the money and are not too bothered about the overall financial equation in case you need to pay overs, I’d still say the RS is really that extra special. But I had a 991.2 GT3 and it is really so good and that tiny bit easier for weekend longer drives... but when came to time to let one go, the RS stayed!

Did you notice any subtle changes on the car at all, or all just looking the same as before ??

I have a curious interest in how many cars there will be with WP,they are different to the first batch, distinguishable even by Steve Wonder!!!

WTF has the question got to do with flipping?

True! Especially when all we want is... get our cars, drive them, break them in, get the 9k Rev and sound, staring at a nice carbon bonnet and have as much fun as we can. We shall organise a Sunday morning drive/ coffee for those in london/ not too far. There are decent roads within 30mn.

From what i've been told there will be circa 100 cars in the UK second batch RSs..I'm guessing that around 80% will be with the WP so around 80 WP RSs in total for the UK..
From the pics above of the black RS WP with gold Mags i'm regretting my choice of going with the standard Plat Mags on my RS..I wonder if its not too late to change them..?

Nothing other than the different exhaust config, shame the titanium box/tips are lost, but ITB more than makes up for it. My car is full WP and black mag wheels in Racing Yellow... these wheels look the nuts to me aside from weight benefits m. The carbon steering wheel is missing, on backorder for swapping over later

Sounds good, bit of a shame as you say on losing the titanium but at least the new exhaust system is lighter than before which seems to be a result.
