Picked up a 991.2 GT3 from Leeds OPC a few weeks ago, and driven it for the first time today. There's a distinct, but faint whirring/griding noise while the car is moving. It sounds like something is rubbing against something else, probably something to do with one of the wheels/PCCB's as it's rhythmic in nature. Any ideas?

Few weeks ? Has it been in the rain ? Rotors rusty or pads. Does it stop while on the brakes? Rev dependant or does it do it out of gear? Wheel bearing maybe or tyres low/ out of shape etc. Many things but if a good drive and a top up of air don't work I'd be going back to opc

Welcome to the “coffee grinder” that is the GT3, it’s quite normal!

Update: Found the issue, it’s the air con fans. When I switch the fans off the noise disappears. It’s due it’s first service in January, so I’ll mention it then

Interesting, mine is currently back at the dealer having what appears to be the same issue investigated, noise sounds like brake rub but doesn’t appear to be, thought it may be a fan but couldn’t pin point it.

I’ll let you know what the dealer comes up with when I collect it next week.

Like you also running PCCBs so it is definitely not rusty discs 😊
