The latest spy shots taken from the Nurburgring in the last few days reveal the final detailing on the lower diffeuser panel below the exhaust box (which has been missing on all mules until now). They are rumoured to start a lot futher back down the chassis and become deeper towars the rear bumper valence ending with a flick.

Also you can mow see the rear spolier blade is more sculptured with what appears to be a gurney flap.

This is the first time I believe we see the car on these wheels but from what I am told they are not the final production wheels (the final wheels are almost idendical to the 718 GT4 production wheels but forged with slightly less rounded edges to the spokes and in 20 and 21" fitments to fit the new 255 and 305 width Cup2 tyres and offers from Dunlop and Goodyear).

Information Ive been told is the car finishes European circuit testing in the before next month and moves to hot/cold climate testing from October. There is no doubt the car will be ready for Geneva launch in March 2020.

I’m not sure on the front end. The square fronted bonnet/lid just doesn’t do it for me.

For me the bonnet and the interior move the car away from the history of the 911, there is something iconic about the 5 dials and rounded exterior look

Think I will keep my .2 3 man.
Hits the brief in every department and the balance is just right.
Greater noise than my .1 RS and just a pleasurable driving machine.

I will reserve judgement until the finished article but am really not sure about the looks. That rear spoiler might provide a dramatic increase in downforce but is ugly and spoils the lines of the car imo. The Touring will be even more popular

I really don’t like it...the more aggressive diffuser looks like it should be on a Lambo and that spoller is OTT.

The wing is completely OTT. Maybe on a Weissach Pack RS but not on a vanilla GT3. As the 992 got more bloated in general, I am nut sure it will be all to my linking

Is not some of that wing covered with camouflage panels? I think it will be more like the current GT3 Wing! Unless of course they are using Lambos ALA system idea

I was thinking that so I just looked at pictures of the 991.2 GT3 testing....wing looks like it ended up on the production cars.

Yes but this time they could be hiding active aero!!!

Touring. Manual. Coming to an OPC near you soon. Looks and sounds fantastic. My guess is this will be the most popular flavour ordered this time round.

I could put up with that.
There'll be a few issues and criticisms no doubt, but given the days we live in now, it'll be as good as it gets for a new car.

I don’t think active aero will come to a GT3 first...that will come to an 2 or 3 RS first. At this stage in development surely you need to be running the car close to its final aero configuration especially for track work.

As prospective buyer of .2 gt3 - I see any announcement of the new 992 version softening prices further, coupled with Brexit and winter looming. At the moment, the GT market appears pretty stagnant as pricing is just unrealistic. Too many cars for not enough buyers. What does everyone else think? These cars need to be selling at list now.

I don’t think the market is stagnant...think it’s weak. More cars available than normal throughout this summer across the whole range...not just GT3’s....auction results in the US last weekend were in some cases shocking. I own a GT3 already and have no intention of selling...that’s just my observation!
