991.2 GT3 sell now or keep dilemma
Discussion
Just FYI.
I believe the 992 GT3 is already effectively ready for release.
Its even featured as a teaser in the recent Superbowl advert.
Like the 992 Turbo S and GTS the only thing holding back Porsche from releasing new models is a change in policy relating to new car reveals.
There has been change in the wind recently on the channels Porsche and other manufacturers are using for new car releases. Auto shows have been on the decline for the last few years (Geneva aside). Porsche Marketing has recently reinvented its launch programmes to make them more relevant to todays audiences.
Expect to see some fairly non tradition release venues and dates this year as a result.

Bit off Topic but is anyone doing Silverstone 18th March with RMA ?
I`d like to do Silverstone and haven't done many track days and the ones I did do were a good few years ago so needing a helping hand or I`ll end up bottling it lol..
Don't bottle it, I also haven't done many and none at all since 2006! I'm dipping my toe in this year, doing Anglesey and Silverstone so far with PCGB I`d like to do Silverstone and haven't done many track days and the ones I did do were a good few years ago so needing a helping hand or I`ll end up bottling it lol..
The red Sheffield Opc car seems reasonably priced at £126k with decent spec, I guess the mileage at 15k is moon mileage for this type of car though.
On reflection it probably needs to be nearer £120k with that mileage, most likely one of if not the highest mileage gen 2 cars for sale.

mileage is not the issue, people are way way to hung up on miles. On reflection it probably needs to be nearer £120k with that mileage, most likely one of if not the highest mileage gen 2 cars for sale.
Most GT4 are over 10k miles also now, people are using their cars, what happens is Mileage reflects price.
you can buy a 991.1 RS with some miles on for £127k
you can buy a 996 RS with 70k miles on for less than a car with £20k miles.
that's how you price cars :-) nothing wrong with miles on a car as long as it's cheaper which is the case.
