Why is there such a big price difference between the
991.1 GT3 and the 991.2 GT3. I is like £40k plus
Surely if the engine is replaced with whatever the newest version is then this issue is sorted or are there issues ?
Ver curious as a 991.1 GT3 at less than 90K could be a good alternative to a 70k 981 gt4 as both around the same era 2014/2015
Because there is 4-5 years difference between the models and the gen2s started 10k more list.

Yep and the gen 2 moved the game on hugely from the gen 1 especially in the engine dept.

The gen 1’s look expensive imo considering they’re several years old now and taking into account the engine issues.

I actually think the 991.1 is great value at 80-90k especially with a decent warranty

Agree and if you like PDK great value for only £10k to £15k more than a 981 GT4 of the same age.

Cars sans lift seem to stick a bit.
I missed that.

Such a shame. Dealers shouldn't be letting customers spec without lift in 2020 imo
So dealers should pick the customers' spec now should they?! If it was that critical it would be standard fitment.

Lift is not a big issue for most people in most situations.

Interesting you say that but I believe that Porsche were thinking of not allowing people to delete Air con form a GT2 Rs as 3% of people do but then realise that this car gets very hot due to cooling pipe work running under seats etc

Snap! Ours just arrived. Satin Bronze on Gulf Blue turbo s cab.

I’d be far too conservative for that combo personally but SWMBO carries it off smile

I saw a set of those last week on a M2Comp belonging to Shmee150's manager, it was at Litchfields when I asked about them cause they looks sensational I was told about £8k for the set is that correct ? I was interested but that is out of my league.
Speak to Hendrik at Baanvelgen info@baanvelgen.com

Interesting to me that JZM have mentioned few price cuts. No idea if that starts to bring these into the realm of the affordable for me.

Only one Manual Car left for sale from an OPC, who's buying it ?

Markets still very hot for these.

I'm amazed at that...split was pretty equal for a long time only in the last few months has it started to move towards more PDK's.

PDK owners will be after the 992 PDK GT3 so trying to part out at list.
I don’t think manual owners are fussed at changing, plus we all think the sales numbers are off on how many left.

Not a bad point, probably never more so than for the RS, because some of the people buying those are doing so, purely to have the absolute fastest, whatever that is.

yes l a lot of people won't mod a car on here but then want the "fastest" odd people.

the fastest will be the MR 991.2 RS non PPF.OPF.GPF (I wish some one would nail what it's called)

they are about to post a time on the new car, now that's going to be interesting vs the 992, as 6.56 is mighty for a NA 500 bhp car.
But the MR 991.2 is going to post a faster one within the next day/week.

If you are rich and liked driving fastest on track the MR RS are the best cars. and you see a few in the UK but none on PH wannabe's forum :-)

all the people on here who swapped 991.2 RS for 991.2 RS WP cars are just jokers and ruin it for every one else at the OPC's.
